Toozday Coffee

It was 75° and partly sunny for the last couple days in my part of Georgia, and on one of those days I did get to go riding (YAY !!!) The other day I unfortunately did not.

Now it's kind of cold, about 50° and raining. (lightly now, heavy rain later).

I Had 2 cups of coffee and two sets of cellophane-wrapped peanut butter wafer bars. Comfort food.

Morning, That is depressing news Patty, praying for you. Thanks Dave for Funnies and Coffee,ok mainly the Funnies. Haven't made coffee yet. Did have breakfast, liked yesterday's breaky so had the same this morning. Today's agenda will be Garbage, Lab visit for Wife and I, and shopping for food. Started Lady yesterday, after seeing how my tank bag would fit, which doesn't, interferes with the handle bars. That and it's a magnet mount. Oh well ,back in the top case it goes. Also tried the USB port with the phone to see if it works yes it does. New Tablet's GPS works as well, turned off WiFi to see if it's a real GPS, seems to be.
Weather, Clear Skies, -7 C/19 F warming to 1 C/ 34 F , got to see the moon this morning, very high in the sky. Well time to get dressed and take the garbage out, have a good day all. G

Morning all, and thanks for the coffee, vittles and chuckles, Dave - all are much needed this morning.

Not too cold today, overcast skies, flurries and a patch of sun or two at some point. We're under a winter storm watch from Wednesday night through most of Thursday; looks like this will be the first really big snowfall of the winter. I would have said that's rather late for winter here, but since Feb. and March have proven to be the snowiest months for the past several years, I guess it makes sense.

Snowstorms are unpleasant enough, I guess, but alas, I have even more unpleasant news: as of yesterday, I am unemployed. In truth, I think the prevailing feeling in the roller coaster of emotions I'm experiencing (and will be for a while) is that of "relief." Simply put, I was not a good fit for them, and they were certainly not a good fit for me. I believe I've alluded to the fact that I've been pretty unhappy and way over-stressed in that job; in fact, the stress was making me sick and I'm fairly sure it was a major contributor to last week's arthritis crisis. Anyway, there it is. Lots of paperwork and planning of next steps to deal with now. So, onward and hopefully, upward.

Have a good one, folks. Stay safe and go safely.

So sorry to hear Pepp. I think it stings more when they are the ones that let you go and not the other way around. But I hope this will lead to a much more satisfying and fulfilling job for you. TC.

Mornin all, thanks for the coffee Dave. Starting at 4F, w a feels like -14, warming to a comfy 22. Beautiful view out the front window this morning.

So sorry @Peppermint , although the last position I left led to this one. Pastoring a sweet church in a small town surrounded by the best motorcycling roads in the Pacific NW! Praying this next chapter opens the best season of your life.

Just remember, if you stay up too late and are tired, it's pastor bedtime!

Or as the rest of the flock says..

Morning Dave & All from mostly sunny, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 23F, up from 18F and heading for 43F. No breeze yet, but later, we'll see the winds from the N@ 20 to 28mph. They are warning us that by Thursday afternoon, we'll see some wetstuff. Until it comes, we won't know if it will be white or in liquid form. Stay tuned!

I was able to get the 2006 engine cleaned up a bit. More to do before I break it open to start on the clutch and waterpump.

And I need to start putting a list together for what I need, including the water hoses and all.

I'll be running after more cleaning supplies this morning.

Boiled eggs, bacon, toast & OJ to start the morning. Pepsi(s) to come later.

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Sorry to hear about the job loss, Patty.
Hopefully, the next one will be a better fit.

Patty ( @Peppermint ) I meant to say something in my earlier post but I got side tracked (I do that a lot...getting side tracked...)

Having been one that had been laid off more times than I would like to think about, I know what one goes through. Since you weren't happy there, it gives you a reason to look else where and you never know, you might find something better, when you least expect it.

Which is exactly what happened to me for my last job, and I was there for over 12 years. (Before they "Retired me" - laid me off... :censored:

I'll include you in my prayers!
