Toozday Coffee

Ay up me o'd mucka. Hit me with what you've got but I'm not sure about Aunt Jemima sitting watching me. Weird.
Just back from Berwick-upon-the-Tweed, all empty cupboard space emergencies alleviated.
The weather I hear you ask....grey I say.
Pffffffftttttt.
The coffee will be imbibed and Er'Indoors motor needs fuel, after lunch I've got a venison ragu to manufacture from many ingredients, probably stew some fruit too.
I can't face a paint brush today, maybe another day, maybe not.
But! Don't put off until tomorrow what can be done today......put it off until next week instead.
Av a gud un and remember, wash your brushes out.
Upt.

Thx Dave, hahahaha!

Started the day with driving Mrs Stu to work.
Then to an early doctors appointment, which lead to a referral to the skin clinic, and more meds.
That’s a loud and clear pffffffft!

Now to rest in peace (until I go to pickup Mrs Stu again…).

Weather is lovely for this time of year, just above freezing, sunny and calm.

Have a healthy one!
Stu, no Ray, not stew.

From this morning driving Mrs Stu to work……Lake of the Dead people call it, North Lake officially

Lake of the dead? You Norwegians are weird too.
I wonder where Aunt Jemima disappeared to.
Glad you're back home safe you lovely weird Norwegian. I told you too much sun and warmth was no good for you.
But did you listen? Of course not, you never listen!
I bet you thought Mrs Stew was back early din't ya.

good morning all. thanks for the coffee Dave. 51F on the dog walk with a nice sky with some clouds and stars but the show stopper was Mr. Moon. he was out in full bright mode. nothing on the list for me today. wife has to pick her older sister from rehab and take her home. so that gives me a few hours to be unsupervised. I'm sure I can find something to get into. it's to be 68F this afternoon so I'm sure I'll end up in the garage. enjoy the day

stay safe

Good morning all!
We thank yee Dave, for the yummy start!
We appreciate a hug & the daily funnies!

69/85F with SSE that will keep us reaching for our lid!

Headed to my sisters again tomorrow, Miss Judy is assisting her to methodically sort & purge the life’s assorted goodies she has stashed! The downsizing will be very enlightening!

Sleep well!

methinks this image is self explanatory...

Vienna/Wiener Neudorf, -1°/8°C, dry, partially cloudy, had the big orange orb raising in my rear window while driving to work... nice

Office, a few tasks, nothing special...
Decided to hunt for motorcycle oils (NT and ST), found some... spring services are due... them bikes have earned themself some full synth... :dr11:

...I'm not sure about Aunt Jemima sitting watching me. Weird...
Methinks that Quaker fella staring at you feels way more creepy... that one however was not objected on/cancelled though...

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Dave.

It's 15f, going to 33f under sunny skies.
It'll become cloudy, later, and the wind will be 10-15mph.

We'll have a visit from the blind/curtain guy today, to install new vertical blinds in the living room and kitchen
I'll try for a gym visit, and maybe a walk.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Waiting for the impending snow here in SoMD. Expecting 6 inches (yeah yeah, that's what she said); could be up to 8, could be a vienna sausage's worth. We've had temps below freezing overnight so it should start sticking right away when it starts here in a few hours.

Opting to stay home because I can, and as long as I can I will. Thanks for the GM joe, it tastes better when I don't have to chug it down on the way out the door! Won't get much done in the garage today but got one wheel painted yesterday, the worse of the two I bought on eBay. It ain't perfect but neither is the car and danged better than the original, corroded aluminum it was. Oddly, it cost me more than the better one...eh, still a decent deal for them both.

More electronics work and remake a turntable for 3D scanning is in the hope chest for today's sidebar efforts. Bought a new flasher relay for the bike too, might throw that on since cleaning the switch only partly worked. I think the relay contacts are just old and oxidized. It clicks but it's fast like a blown bulb, then after a few seconds starts flashing. It was only a few bucks so can't hurt.

Take care y'all!

Morning all! It's -2C, which, I am informed by the Weather Network, feels like -6C. We'll have some sun and a high of 0C, which I am further informed will feel like -2C. I guess we'll C.

The one blessing to be counted today is that I have no meetings scheduled. At all. All day. Which means I have likely just jinxed myself and a swathe of them will appear. I think that's the collective reference to a a group of meetings right? A swathe of meetings.......no wait.....a sloth of meetings. That seems more appropriate given the torpor they induce.

Hope everyone has a great day and cuts a wide swathe!

Morning all, and thanks for the coffee, vittles and chuckles, Dave - all are much needed this morning.

Not too cold today, overcast skies, flurries and a patch of sun or two at some point. We're under a winter storm watch from Wednesday night through most of Thursday; looks like this will be the first really big snowfall of the winter. I would have said that's rather late for winter here, but since Feb. and March have proven to be the snowiest months for the past several years, I guess it makes sense.

Snowstorms are unpleasant enough, I guess, but alas, I have even more unpleasant news: as of yesterday, I am unemployed. In truth, I think the prevailing feeling in the roller coaster of emotions I'm experiencing (and will be for a while) is that of "relief." Simply put, I was not a good fit for them, and they were certainly not a good fit for me. I believe I've alluded to the fact that I've been pretty unhappy and way over-stressed in that job; in fact, the stress was making me sick and I'm fairly sure it was a major contributor to last week's arthritis crisis. Anyway, there it is. Lots of paperwork and planning of next steps to deal with now. So, onward and hopefully, upward.

Have a good one, folks. Stay safe and go safely.

Patty
