Toosday 12/03 Café.

Morning all! Overcast, grey and 5C for the ride in. Felt chillier. May have been the fog hanging around, it can make things chilly. Dew you know what I mean? The high will be 7C and we may get some sun in there somewhere.

The handlebar muffs continue to perform as required, I can actually move my fingers when I pull into the parking garage. The helmet visor got treated with the Nikwax water repellent. Will see how that works when it's supposed to rain later this week. My wife suggested that she could test it with the hose but I'm too smart to fall for that....again.

The move back into the house continues at a slow and steady pace. Most of the furniture is in now. Just the rest of the clothing and other assorted household bits and bobs including a front Matt. You know, someone to take your coat and hat. Maybe also a mat? But Matt, he's got it down pat....ok, enough at bats....

I've done a few files with contested wills, it's quite estate of affairs....

Hope everyone has a great day and where there's a Will, you're sure to find a Matt!

Tomorrow, we get to greet a storm system coming in from out West, known as an "Alberta Clipper." It will dump a goodly amount of snow on us through Wednesday and most of Thursday, and will be followed by bone-chilling, freeze-your-nose-hairs cold. Welcome to Canadian winter, eh?
What? You freaked me out when I read this because I am unaware of any cold weather or snowstorm heading our way. I still don't have the snowblower ready to go. Environment Canada is calling for a measly 2cm of snow and daytime temperatures at or above -4°C all week. What forecast are you looking at, or is it possible that it was you who was smoking up in the stairwell?

Wasn’t me!! I swear!
@Andrew Shadow, I was just going by this morning’s Weather Network report. I just looked online again and it’s still supposed to snow from about 9 am tomorrow to about 4 pm on Thursday. I suspect we won’t get as much here in the city as they will north of Laval. As for the temps, it looks like the windchills and nighttime lows will be pretty cold, and Friday looks a little chilly, but then it seems to warm up again, so who knows??

That doesn't surprise me then. Whenever I have seen their site it has seemed to me that they use the extremes at both ends of the the data to be able to hype up the forecast with as much sensationalism as they think that they can get away with to attract as much attention to their site as they can. They very often forecast way higher snowfalls than Environment Canada does and it rarely comes true. Plus their website is notorious for all kinds of tracking tricks that they use without your knowledge or permission. I never look at their site.

They all get the data from Environment Canada, so I just go directly to the source.

Afternoon Ray & All from mixed clouds and Sun in Southern Utah!

Currently it is 47F, up from 20F and heading for 49F. Slight breeze now, and later the winds will pick up to 6 to 7mph, from the NNW.

What a heck of a night/morning! I couldn't get to sleep to save me. I got a couple of hours early, then from 4am to 8am, I was awake again! So I went back to bed at 8 and woke up at a quarter to noon! I feel like a Zombie! o_O

I "might" get up enough energy to go out and work on the Tractor Shed electrical, MAYBE! I never got out there yesterday.

I had brunch, of eggs, bacon, a biscuit & washed it all down with a Pepsi.

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
