Thursday November 14th Café.

Morning all! Cloudy with some patches of blue sky. It was 8C for the ride in. Even without rain I was still wiping my shield from the spray kicked up by the other vehicles. It's 9C now, with a predicted high of 11C and sun with clouds.

Makes a nice change from yesterday. It was coming down in buckets on the ride home but thanks to decent gear nary a drop got inside so I stayed dry. Though I wish I could figure out a way to keep the shield clear of water. Maybe I just say to heck with the warranty on it and put some version of Rain X on it. Shields aren't that dear so if it does wreck it, I can just buy another one. Particularly given I hope to commute most of the winter which means riding in rain most of the time.

Welcome Kennyray!

Hope all goes smoothly with the vehicle pick up Obo. It's always nice to have a new vehicle regardless of number of wheels.

Renos keep progressing, the house looks great. Only a couple weeks and we'll be in apparently. Cannot wait as I'm getting cabin fever living in the small suite at the back. Now I just have to decide on which organ I want to sell to pay for it. Who am I kidding, I'd have to sell multiple as most of mine would be considered "As Is" so one won't cover it. Maybe I offer not to sell in return for money......keep my genes in my jeans so to speak.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Very LATE to the party, but today has been a bit busy.

Thanks for the start Ray! And Afternoon All, from sunny and breezy, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 62F, which is the high for the day, but with the breeze, it is cooler. Depending on the "Weather Model" you choose to follow, possible rain is in the forecast...maybe. :well1:

Chris and I are taking our neighbors, (Randy & Wife, the guy that helped me with the concrete) out to dinner tonight to thank them for letting Randy help me! It's the least I could do, since he saved me a lot of $$$$!

I'm now looking at the electrical parts that will be required to do what I need out there. I do keep coming up with different ideas. ;)

Had a Pepsi for lunch, so that's been covered. :)

Anyone :dr13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

hmm...
Methinks my Shoei visor is kinda factory coated... so is the one on Schuberth C3 of my GF...
This seems to work nice though:

And the windscreens get a good clean with Bike Spirits Spray Cleaner & Polish, which repellent abilities last for a couple of weeks...
