"I'm outdoorsy...
means I like to drink my coffee on the patio"

G'Day...

thanx to the boost by some dark, bitter brew (like my sense of humor) I almost know what I'm doing...

8°/11°C, dark overcast, some serious winds, rain, rain... and... more rain in all variations and intensities...

Took ze car, so did ze GF, hauling her mom to the physio...

Outlook for Saturday also quite wet, not pleasant as I'd planned to install a new set of T32's onto ze GF's NT700VA...

Mailman just dropped off the parcel with the new irrigation pump controller, so this is going to happen on the w/e...

Fancy colors, heavy, about twice as big as the old one, made in China, of course, what isn't these days, but appears to be a very sturdy, solid design...

enjoy your start into the w/e!

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Martin.

It's 54 and partly cloudy, rising to 79 with rain showers this morning, then becoming cloudy.

We'll be up in Loudon, NH for the first Penguin Road Race school of the season.
That will be followed by the NEMRR race weekend.
It's 48, going to 71, and it'll be cloudy today. We're expecting rain, tomorrow, though.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee, Martin. Given the amount of rain you're expecting, I'm wondering whether that irrigation system pump is reversible? Or will you simply switch crops and start growing rice?

It's 53°F in Rockville, where we have a slight overcast that's thin enough to allow some blue tint to seep through. Later we'll reach the high 70s, maybe even crack 80, with scattered rain showers increasingly possible from 1800 hours onward.

The drive home was uneventful, and with my SIL's help (not the one we were visiting, but rather the one who lives closer to us and is a frequent house watcher / cat-sitter when we're away) I got the trailer and car unloaded in plenty of time to not push the envelope on getting the trailer returned. I had another errand in that same direction that couldn't be completed until a couple hours later, so we spent the intervening time playing cards and enjoying craft beers at a small place nearby.

Today it's uke practice with my friend, followed immediately by goof.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late. You just never know.

Mornin’ y’all. Thanks, Martin.

A balmy 65 this morning as rain approaches. Intermittent showers throughout the day, with a high of 72.

I’ll be working on the neighbors riding mower today, stopping him from loading the expensive parts cannon. He said the blades don’t always engage, so he was going to replace the most expensive part first. Doh. I tried explaining the process of troubleshooting the electrical, before installing a new PTO clutch @$250. He was already considering having to purchase a new mower. Hopefully it’s just a bad switch.

This is the same neighbor that disassembled the carburetor without removing it from the motor, dropping springs and floats into the grass, never to be seen again.

John

Good morning, all, and thanks for the boost, Martin.

We'll see a mix of sun and clouds today, and the temperature will climb from the current 8°C/46°F to 17°C/63°F. The rain will move in this evening and will fall aaaaall weekend, sometimes quite heavily, by the look of it. Guess I'll catch up on some reading.

Everyone have a great day, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Good morning all!
Thanks for the start Martin.

Yesterday’s tree cutting went fairly well, first tree went exactly as planned!
The second tree is down & still waiting to be limbed & cut into firewood.

Currently 43/59 F with an E blow.
We have rain in our forecast with a late afternoon thunderstorm.
Enjoy your weekend!

It's been a rainy few days here, and it calls for rain later this afternoon,

but from now until 1 PM the weather is just cloudy and I'm going to ride to the local Harley Davidson dealership where they're giving away hotdogs and hamburgers,

and there are a few other folks from the Christian Motorcyclists Association (CMA) there to fellowship with and maybe pray over some visitor's motorcycle if they would like .

Martin calls it "dark and bitter", while black and bitter works for me. Thanks, Martin.

John, I've enjoyed browsing through Chickanic's YouTube channel, where she diagnoses and fixes all types of mowers, blowers, and saw, breaking it all down to where it makes sense in a very logical fashion. The only tool she uses that the average man-garage won't have is a lighted scope with a camera to look at the inside of the cylinder and piston through the spark plug hole. Available on Amazon for $30 - $40, very handy.

She changes the belts on riders, checks the safety switches, transplants engines, rebuilds carbs, and all kinds of things. In Arkansas somewhere.

I will get my old weather-worn push mower running, once I decide to spend for the replacement cables, crankcase breather, pull rope, and several more fatigued bits and parts. Just because I can. (I think...)

Pretty spring day in Birmingham, except for the random rains popping up after lunch. Perfect temps, but sketchy precipitation patterns.

And it's the day before the Weekend!

Make it so.

Good morning, Awake at 6 am if you can call me awake, need more coffee. May go back to bed after I open Airport gate. That cool air off the Bay tends to wake me up though. We will see,46 F highs 69 F few clouds this morning then clearing in the afternoon. Agenda, maybe drive wife to eye doctor appointment, in afternoon either adjust clutch and Brakes on VW buggy aka "Peter Pan" ( wife named her toy that). Or Pressure wash the Van. Time to open gate, G

Late Morning Martin & All from mostly sunny, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 61F, heading for 68F with winds from the S @ 19 to 21mph. And later, the winds will be from the SSW@ 28 to 46mph. Good day to work inside! ;)

I was able to get started on the knock sensors wiring harness. set up, while doing so I decided to swap out the knock sensors with the 05 sensors. I'm glad I did, the right side sensor on the 06 was pretty dark.

Today, I'll figure out the next step, probably setting up the coolant lines/hoses and thermostat.

Eggs, bacon, toast & OJ for the morning start.

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
