The Only Way I Could Be Happier With My Calsci Shield,,, is if,,, Monkey's Served Me Ice Cream While I Rode...

Adam, would you be interested in creating a design of a monkey serving ice cream? I would love to put it on a tee shirt?

Now, that right there is a Moonshine T-Shirt idea, I don't care who ya are. :rofl1:

Like many, I too never met him and it was he that I most wanted to meet at Moonshine. Now I am very sorry I missed it this year.

When ever I saw his post come up, it made my day a little better. He always had a way with words that made us all laugh. I truly hope that his family knows just how much of a positive influence he had on so many that he never met. I can't think of another person that made me smile so much from reading his posts here.

I truly hope that those that can go will go to show his family just how much he meant to us, his fellow riders.

Terry, RIP brother I will truly miss you but am honored to have know you even if only through a computer screen.

Hope those monkeys are serving him the best ice cream EVAR as he rides with Putt. Godspeed Terry.

I too, am another one who never had the pleasure of meeting Terry. I can tell from
reading all the posts about him that he was loved by all. We are all blessed
to have known a man like him, whether it was in person or through various forums.
I truly enjoyed reading his posts. He never knew, but he has made me laugh several
times when I really needed a good laugh. Thank you Terry!

Prayers to his Family and Friends for the strength to get through this hard time.

I think a good measure of Terry's influence here,,,, is how many folks are posting that I've never seen post before. So many of us never got the honor or privilege to meet him,,,,yet feel such a great loss. Just as we are brought here by a common bike,,, we are posting because of a common friend.
For being a farmer, I never heard (read actually) of Terry having a bad day, or bad-mouth anybody, or complain about corn or bean prices, or broken equipment, or bad weather,or nothing. UNLESS it was connected to a long-winded story that made me smile and laugh. I'll miss that.
I went for a ride today.
Partly for me,,,,, mostly for my friend.

Re: Terry 'ACL' Remembered

I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around Terry's passing; it seems like some type of strange dream....

I first met Terry at the 2008 MLR; per our web conversations I had developed the "Moonshine For Dummies" T-Shirt, had them printed and shipped over for the event. Things were running in their normal, chaotic fashion but Terry made it a point to catch up with Bre and I and express his thanks for the shirts.

For 2010, I wanted to do another shirt. The idea I had was to have a likeness of Terry, setting in the Lotus position and hoisting a Moonburger in one hand, with the words "We come to Moonshine for the Moonburgers, but we leave with so much more!"; so I sent him a PM with the idea.

Terry replied that he really didn't like the idea; that Moonshine was not about him, but about the ride and friendship. It was this info that inspired the road sign design and the "Top 10" list.

He also all but insisted that Breann spend the night with Macy, and thus was created the Moonshine Girls Slumber Party!

His smile, hugs, and laughter will be sorely missed! Ride on, my friend!

I'm another one who just lost a friend that I never met. What an incredible guy! I've busted a gut many times after reading an ACL post. One that comes to mind is him standing up on his pegs and pointing at his back-side as he passes a bunch of biker dudes. I would have loved to sit down with him for a few hours just to hear his stories. He will be missed. :(

I still cannot believe I am having to post this. Lets please keep this thread for Funeral Arrangements and who is planning on attending.

I found this information on another site. It does not appear final arrangements have been made, but here is the link to the funeral home. They do have a guestbook where you can leave comments for the family and friends. I am sure the website will be updated as soon as arrangements have been made.

Its a sad event when a good friend passes--even one you never met in person. I felt like I knew him through his entertaining stories. He and his family are in our prayers.

Landon, thanks. Carole and I arrive in Indy tomorrow afternoon and will drive to Casey from the airport.

I plan on riding over. It only seems right if it would be about 32 and snow for some reason.

I will be there Monday.

Kreis, I read on the MTF that Cindy was waiting for Terry's sisters to get there, which is the reason for no set time. I don't think I can make it due to some other commitments so please lift a prayer for me. I still cannot believe it. I was so looking forward for us to meet up for a Super Tenere get together next year too.
