Terry 'ACL' Hammond (11/19/2010)

I'm stunned!! I was just down there for the post, post Moonshine run. Ive admired the man every since I met him. (Actually before- I like reading his posts and comments on this site.) My heartfelt wishes to his family and many friends! Russ.

When I first read this, my first reaction was that it can't be true and that it is some kind of cruel joke. When the reality set in, all I can feel is a numbness.
Condolences to TLC and all his family and friends.

This can't be! I never met Terry, but I feel like I've lost a member of my family. My heart goes out to his wife and family. I can't believe his light has gone out.

This is heart breaking. Cindy, Mitch, and Masey I am so sorry!!! I feel I have lost another brother.

I had never met him, but enjoyed reading his posts on here.. Thoughts go out to family and friends..:noway:sad::shock:

I as well as many others lost a great friend this afternoon! It's amazing how one man could "touch" so many, just by being himself. Last weekend at the Post Post Moonshine Lunch I left my electric gloves in his garage. Just this afternoon I received them in the mail. Funny how a worthless envelope That contained my gloves now becomes a priceless keepsake. I don't know the arrangements but I will be there IF/When the wake begins.

If there is anything we can do to assist please count me in.

And when you reach the mountain top then shall you begin to climb.
And when the earth shall claim your limbs - then shall you truly dance.

Your life will light up this forum and its members forever.

Rest in peace - a friend to all

What a great loss to not just to the riding community but to the wide variety of folks he touched in such a positive way. Godspeed Terry.

I met Terry in person this year at Moonshine, and truly looked forward to reading his posts, stories and occasional adventures (such as Danica or the poision summac).

Our site and his family are much poorer for having lost him.
