Sunday it is! - Oct 20

Seems there were ladybugs everywhere.
Are they Lady Bugs, or those Asian Lady Beetles that are taking over?
I ask because we rarely see the traditional red Lady Bug that are native to Canada and that we are familiar with. The more orange coloured Asian Lady Beetles have taken over around here. They are terrible things. They stink, they bite, they move indoors in large numbers and make a mess where ever they hang out. My Sister lives on a farm and at this time of year she literally has to vacuum them up, some times more than once a day. You will never have that problem with Lady Bugs.

Felt a slight glitch in the matrix, along with minor tremors, early last evening. Seems the epicenter was located in Knoxville, TN, but I’m sure @Sadlsor felt the aftershocks.
Yeah, I felt it, but will admit that it came as no surprise. Right in the bowels of Nieland Stadium, as I recall. I need not go into my thoughts on the transfer portal and NIL and their impact on collegiate team sports, but it amounts to what can be considered a dissolution of the team mindset and culture, and a shift to many free agents.

Anyway, I lost track of the morning whilst drinking my Black Rifle and charging my regular phone... I've already shared my disdain for my iPhone backup. Then it was time for church, and well... here I am late.

But thanks for the choice coffee thoughts, Nick... I imagine it had a nice, earthy taste to it.

See y'all in the flip flop, but watch out for this pop tops. Cuz we all know what happened to Jimmy Buffet.

Saw both and had one of each land in my hand at the same time. That explains the color variation Mrs. Obo and I were wondering about. The majority were red, with fewer being orange.

No issues with them being indoors, other than the one that got into Mrs. Obo's bra and was nestled in snug as a bug in a rug until she was getting ready for bed. We do find them indoors at work from time to time, but only a couple of them. They have a very interesting life cycle. Here's a video for those interested.

That's really cool!

It reminds me of "Invasion of the body snatchers"
