Stormy Saturday the 15th Coffee

Thanks for the coffee, John, I'm just about finished for now. I know you'll be sending the wild windy and wet weather to me in a few hours when you've finished playing with it.

But before that comes, i may ride down to the local dealer for their Indian demo day and maybe ride one. Not that I'm at all interested in owning one. These are the motorcycles, y'all, not native American people in case I've confused anyone.

Maybe get the chainsaw back together, that keeps spitting out the stuff that keeps the clutch in place, now that i have spares again. It might be nice to have if the weather throws down any more limbs or trees. It could happen.

Good luck with the crutches, Patty, I would've though they were adjustable. Never had to use them though, so what I think doesn't matter much.

I trust everyone here will avoid any weather chaos. I'm at a point in my life that I'm not interested in any drama that I haven't created myself. And usually I regret even that drama.
You might want to try,if the grove is wide enough, putting a washer between the eclip and the outside of the grove.

Can't even get a fingernail underneath the clip, so it should be tight enough. I can turn the clip on the grove, so it is definitely not binding. That's a great idea, though.
I measured with calipers, then squeezed this one (pinched, in a sense) together a bit with pliers.
Gonna try to let it idle with the sprocket cover off and see when / if it it tries to fly away.
