STOC TAG

Paul, thanks for the non-routine tour.....beautiful place you have there.....only time I went to Hawaii all I saw was touristy stuff.....and I said I'd never go back......now though.......just like here, off the beaten path.........wonders everywhere......good luck with your back...............Joe..............ff

Thanks for the note George, yes the shirt is for Danny, I don't know how I got his initials wrong.: Thanks to all who enjoyed the pics. Have a safe trip to Moonshine all who make the trek.

Fresh Tag pic from last week, July 3, east of Charlotte, NC. These are friends Karl and Adam Bushby. Karl is the guy walking around the world. Caught up with them for a visit last Thursday.

After a minor gear failure, they spent a couple days in a motel off NC-24 in Albemarle. They got back on the road on 7-4, and while setting up camp that evening stumbled on a hornets nest. Fireworks takes on a whole new meaning.

Karl was impressed with the Tags and wrote a moving note in the log book. I'll update my Picasa Tag albums when I get home and post those words...

Memorial Tags in New Orleans

During our recent memorial for Bob Donaldson, I was humbled when George entrusted the memorial tags and booklet to me. The tags spent today touring New Orleans and I met a sweet couple from Australia traveling the world in one of those go anywhere type vehicles. They added a note to our book and were gracious in letting me get a photo of them with our tags.

The tags made it to FerryStoc 6 and witnessed Randy and Della's wedding. Wow - what a great weekend!

Great job, Moondoggie. Exotic locations are where ya find them. :D

And, thanks for the reminder. I have several photos I've failed to upload here. Need to get a new round-tuit:

Let me know where to send the tags or who to give them to for the trip to wesSTOC. They are in middle TN (going to NC for a few days) right now. I am planning a trip this winter to Equador but can get them back before I go.
