My cherry '08 lost a quarter sized chip off the front of the left valve cover when I did my valve inspection. Looks like there may have been a little corrosion on there to help loosen it.
Does anyone know the paint code for the dark grey on the valve covers?

I have uncovered a mystery, my new bike is registered as an '05, is blue (I assume PB255M Coronado Blue which is an '04 colour), but has the frame sticker showing R-151C-U which is Candy Glory Red (which is an '05 colour). Which I assume means that at some point in its life it has had all the bodywork changed over. The only sign of any change is the front fender which shows lots of red through the stone chips, the rest looks to be original blue with no repainting. If only it could talk...
