I thought so, but couldn't find the wheel sizes in the Honda service manual. Am I blind or did they not include that information in the general specifications section? Also the front wheel got wider to 3.5"...
Well, at least they have the 'proper' size for the front for an ST1100 ABSII (and a ST1300).And BS have launched the Batlax T33 series... sizes are limited of course...
No, still won't buy another motorcycle, they can lobby on this as much as they want...![]()
Except the speedometer is driven off the front wheelWell, at least they have the 'proper' size for the front for an ST1100 ABSII (and a ST1300).
And a 170/60 (ST1300 size) will 'work' on the rear if need be as I have used one of those before but then I run a BT020 Bias (proper size) on the back anyway.
170/60-R17 vs 160/60-R17 Tire Comparison - Tire Size Calculator | Tacoma World
160/60-R17 tires are 0.47 inches (12 mm) smaller in diameter than 170/60-R17 tires and the speedometer difference is 1.9%www.tacomaworld.com
Looks like (assuming the above calculator is correct) 170 to 160 is .79mm (1/32 inches) in diameter and .39 mm (1/64 inches) in sidewall height.
The 160/60 makes the ST1100 stand up too straight on the side stand from my experience.
That is true - but what I have was information on the 'rear' tire ...Except the speedometer is driven off the front wheel
