Yes, it's possible; although the rear carbs will be out of their rubber 'isolators'/boots. See picture #9 in my album linked above. Loosen all the upper carb boot clamps and pry up the back of the carbs just enough to use your drill and tap. Leave the air cleaner cover on, it'll make it easier to reseat the rear carbs. BTDT
