Helmets Shoei Syncrotec Large vs multitec

Has anyone else gone from a Syncrotec to a multitec? I wear a size L and I love the Syncrotec. However it seems shoei has made some changes. I think they have gone to a single sized shell and adjusted the padding to accommodate the size (L vs. XL). The Large Syncroted feels great and the shell seems a reasonable size. The Large Multitec however seems a LOT bigger.

Does anyone know if this is true and/or what is up?

Ventilation is supposedly much better in the Multitec.

Don't know about the syncrotec but I have a large RF1000 and a large Multitec, (for my head) they fit the same.
