Good morning everyone

Let's get the weekend started, shall we? What better way to begin than with a pot of French roast coffee? That's what I've made and will gladly share with you all.

It's 58°F and cloudy in Rockville, expecting mostly cloudy all day and a high around 71. An E wind of 5 - 7 mph will be with us all day.

Yesterday was a day spent in bed for yours truly; I've got something between a bad cold and mild flu, it seems. No energy, blocked nasal passages, low-grade body ache... all the usual symptoms. I didn't even have the vitality to play the ukulele. The day of rest was helpful but I don't want to risk a setback so today will be another easy day.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, because tomorrow may be too late.

good morning all. thank you Keith for the coffee. it hits the spot after I finish up the dog walking. it was 47F on the dog walk with a clear sky and a lot of stars to see.
that made for a good walk. we have a meeting and then lunch today at the gym I go to. I believe that will eat up most of the day. the high should hit 67F. enjoy the day.

stay safe

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee, Keith.

It's cloudy and 44 in MA this morning. We'll get a blip up to 45 and rain, and the temperature will drop into the mid-30s.

Yesterday, I got out the the VFR, and with enough contact cleaner got the horn to at least Meep. There's not a lot of volume out of that thing on a good day, so I count that as a success.
I also called about the Wing, and they'll have it ready, today, they say. In spite of calling me back in Jan/Feb about the bolt recall, they haven't ordered the part, yet! So I'll get to bring it back whenever they get that, in a few weeks.

I took the neighbor's dog for a 5 mile walk, and skipped the gym.

Today, I'll just hang out around the house and maybe pick up the Wing, if it's ready to go.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Good morning, all, and thanks for the coffee Keith! Feel better! That goes for you too, @St-Gerard!

The rain hasn't started falling yet, but it soon will, and once it does, it will keep coming down all day. Light rain for the most part, but heavy downpours for a couple of hours this afternoon, apparently. Temps will range from 2°C/36°F to 6°C/43°F today, we're told. The rain will stop for a while sometime in the wee hours, but then start up again tomorrow afternoon.
I won't complain too much about the rain; looks like there's a big dump of snow coming on Tuesday, and conditions will stay cool enough that it might stick around for a while. Sigh.

Ah, well. Everyone have a fine day, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

G'Day,

0°/19°C today (speak of shock-therapy), partly cloudy but burning sun in between, various stuff blooming in the garden, insects buzzing, pterodactyls squawking and wailing, a 2-stroke leaf-blower in the distance is blaring like a solitary sheep, a couple houses further the 3 notorious, miniature Pinschers have gotten yard time, hysterically irking and yapping at all and everything... yeah, spring is in the air... ;)

Done groceries already (gazillions of people out!), stopped at the pharmacy to pick up some meds for the in-laws (our oh so smart city council at it again, eliminating parking spots near a pharmacy! Brilliant, absolutely brilliant... me having to drive circles while ze GF made the errant :cautious:)...

Dropped the meds off at their place and then I performed... <drum-roll!>... the first mow of the year...
In some spaces the blades had already grown 5~6", so before they'll fall over, I broke out the heavy machinery... 15", 800W pure electric power...

Well, enjoy the weekend... and some more hot Joe... :coffee:

Thx Keith, get well soon!
You too @St-Gerard !

10˚c/50f, sunny, a breeze.

Had a great time with our son yesterday.
Supernice to see him again.
He talked me into comin over to his place in Oslo next weekend, there’s a bathroom project going on….
A roadtrip is always welcome.

Today I’ve been working in the garden with Mrs Stu.
And I finally installed the new battery and the new saddle on the ST.
Will test it next week. Will post some pics then. Looks nice!

Son is out with his buddies, so we’ll just settle for some sushi later.

Have a good one !
Stu

Good morning again, thanks for the get well wishes, Beautiful Sunny day so far, hopefully feel better soon so I can mount new tank bag on bike. That would be only thing on my agenda for today. Should not take me long just need enough time between bathroom visits. Diffanitly Spring here trees are green and lawn needs mowing. Seems like yesterday was winter. Now what to have for breakfast, stay alive,G

Feel better, Keith, and thanks for making the ☕️ coffees you likely didn't feel like making. You can take the rest of the day off.

After all my hype off the SEBDR movie in Georgia, I've changed my mind. Lots of things I should stop putting off, and just get 'em done. Enough about that.

A neighbor is chainsawing, started a little before 9 this morning. Reminding me of the couple of large bridges brush piles that remain at the treeline in the back yard.

I can find some bike chores for both the big bikes, if i get to those as well. Honestly, there's no lack of projects, all little things I could do... which is an often overlooked benefit of procrastination.

Not much else I can catch and pull out of the raging river of thoughts racing through the canyons of my mind... so I'll step aside and let y'all commence (or return to) your genuine Saturday activities. Or lack of same.

Good morning and thanks for the coffee . I hope all of you start to feel better and my bride has had the crud for a couple days now . I am really hoping to miss it . Cool and raining here in the gulch but was so nice yesterday that I started on my yard work duties . Leaves raked and moved so mother nature can blow them away ,garbage picked up and some branches from the ice storm cleaned up . Take care ,ride safe EH!

Afternoon Keith & All from Sun & Clouds in Southern Utah!

Currently it is 48F, up from 24F and heading to 53F. We have a breeze blowing from the NNE @ 5 to 15mph. According to the weather guessers, we are heading for some heat, over the next week. By Thursday, we'll be seeing 81F, and then it will drop again back to the 60Fs, over the next couple of weeks. We'll see.

Keith & St-Gerard, hope you both recover soon! :pray1:

We have Church Conference, today and tomorrow. What's nice is I can watch the Sessions on my own TV! :)

I've had to order a few more parts, so I can take care of the clutch issue. This bike is costing me more than expected, so I sure hope I can get it running again, after all of this!

Eggs, bacon, croissant & a Pepsi, to start the morning.
I've recovered from my stomach issue of yesterday, but I'm staying away from any OJ at this time.

Anyone :dr13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Well Good afternoon, took longer than I expected, but got New tank bag installed, front straps weren't going through the loops on the frame so had to remove Tupperware to wrap around the frame. Rear straps no problem. After lunch will put stuff from Mag mount tank bag in it.

It looks good! I'm sure it will be worth the effort! :hat3:
