RIP Val Kilmer

"There's no normal life, Wyatt," Doc Holliday advised Wyatt Earp. "It's just life. Get on with it."

A favorite of mine as well. The Man. The Actor.

Amazon Prime..TV... a wonderful documentary titled VAL. Made in 2021 I discovered it about a year ago and have watched it...immersed in it many times. Beautifully done.

RIP

He made a lot of movies I enjoyed Tombstone being one of his best roles. But my favorite role will always be as Iceman in Top Gun: Maverick. I really liked Top Gun and saw Kilmer's role in it as Ice in a different light after Maverick.

Kilmer had lost his voice long before Maverick and couldn't speak. His voice was recreated digitally for the movie. I really like that Cruise said Kilmer would would definitely be in the movie.

65 is way too young. I'm glad he left is with Ice as his last role and that he was able to see how the movie did was in no small measure his part in it.

One last thing. Who's the better pilot? You or me?

This is a nice moment. Let's not ruin it.

RIP Iceman.
