So lately I have noticed that my trip meter and clock will reset when I start my 06 ST1300. Did it twice today on my ride to and from Hillbilly Hotdogs. Any-1 else ever experience this? If so what is the deal?

Was kind of what I was thinking...maybe cells failing. Thanks!

Load test the battery. If you have a friendly auto service station you use a lot, take the battery to them and they can put a load - usually heating coils in a metal cage - across the terminals while they measure th voltage. Most places will do this for free.

A quick test you can try at home if you have a DMM or VOM is to put it across the battery terminals proper after checking them to measure the voltage while cranking. If it drops below 10V... I'm not sayin' it's the battery...

It's not the battery. I think your bike has contracted an STd. Take it to a bike doctor for some penicillin and make sure to cover it at night.
Keep it away from other bikes until the symptoms abate and always wear protective gear when riding it.

If the battery isn't the problem you should check your ground points, although ground point failure is usually total, not intermittent.

Good luck!
