Removing lock cylinder??

Scott, you could take the bike to him, or have him come to it and you wouldn't have to take anything apart, roblem is I can't take the bike to him without a key, and I don't have the money to pay him to drive out to the shop. But since I now have the keys, there is no need. Most of the troiuble here derrived from ym state of temporary unemployment since my accident. For most, and me normally I would have just called out the locksmith, so all this trouble would not apply normally.

OK, then that would have worked; "if" you could have removed the left faring including the locked storage compartment he could have made a key.

But, we can't remove the left fairing because of the two screws under the compartment door.

--Oh, just went back to you previous post/question. I did not mean to just take the compartment door to him. I meant take the entire left fairing, including the locked compartment. But Leo reminded me that two screws that need to be taken out are covered by that locked compartment door.

Anway, very glad you found your key. :D

I'm sure glad you didn't have to try removing the left fairing pocket lid. There are fewer tumblers than in the ignition switch. Same for bags and gas cap.
