Just to be clear, these only use GPS for heading, velocity and distance, but not navigation?
And, I'm guessing they are not rain proof?

How did it work out?got PYLE HUD from amazon.
cost a little more ,but I got it before I left foe ArkanSTOC.
will set up in morning before I leave.
very good on screen(smoked/tint probably helps)
Is the skeleton a kitten that ventured too far from the herd?Regarding “too much clutter”...
I guess so if youre not used to scanning multiple data displays. As you can see from the bike “office” or cockpit picture above, Im using data from:
- an iPhone
- Garmin GPS
- ST1300 Dashboard
- GPS driven HUD
- Kenwood 2-way radio (actually two)
Plus multitasking:
- talking to my team
- hearding kittens on the road (vehicles under my charge)
- watching for those onside cars/trucks
- watching traffic signals/signs
- scanning for road hazards
- praying
But you’re correct in that really only the speed and maybe occasionally calling out a cardinal heading and time is really necessary
didn't have time to look at it.How did it work out?
spiderman302 said:Just speed and maybe real time would be enough. I see from your links that there may be one (or two) that would do that.... A little black electrical tape could mask off the clutter.....
