You think that's expensive? I'm needing a replacement LH pannier (don't ask!), quote from Honda motorcycle dealer in Melbourne is AU$2,500., at current exchange rate, that around US$1,775.
Honda Australia don't supply a complete unit, this is for the individual parts (approx. 32 - I think they told me - someone on here may know), plus assembly. We are use to getting ripped-off for motorcycle and car parts here in AUS, but even this surprised me.
I'm currently trying to convince the Minister for Finance that buying a 2nd hand ST1300, wouldn't be such a bad idea - so long as it has a good LH pannier.
Anyone got any words of wisdom that I could use?
