Does anyone know where in Canada I might find replacement rubber bumpers for Givi Monokey mounting plates?
Part number is Z126.
US retailers either don’t ship to Canada or charge stupid money to do so.

Tried the usual suspects like Amazon.ca and Fortnine without luck.

They are on Amazon UK. Shipping on UK parts is often reasonable.

Not the best design. The bumpers can bond to the box if left mounted for a while and then pull off when taking the box off. Gluing in place may help.
 
I already replaced one with a nylon washer (counter sunk) and small nut and bolt to hold it in place.
Just lost another rubber one, so would like to replace all 4.
I’ll check Home Depot fasteners section as per Igofar’s suggestion.
 
Looks like you now have a part number, do a Canada specific search.

Is Givi luggage available at any of the bike dealers around your are? Ask them about the availability of the bumpers.
 
I actually bought a set of four of those in the US. They were inexpensive, maybe 12 or $15 for the set. However, they did not stay in the holes in the plate. I lost three out of four of them. If I was to replace them, I’d probably use a little silicone on the mating surface to prevent them from coming undone.

An ounce of prevention. Or two depending on how you parse it. But it's seems like these tackle a two-fold problem. If they didn't stick to the box they wouldn't be pulled out.

Or if left in place with the box removed they shake out? Either way these seem like prudent steps. I would have used silicone grease on the tops of the bumpers. Wax didn't occur to me. Grease might hold dirt or grit more readily. That can't be a good thing.
 
I ran into the same problem 2 years ago. I lost one and then another would pull out when I took the top case off. The rubber degrades and gets sticky with age. I resorted to some old rubber washers and grommets I had laying around. I didn’t want to use glue and surprisingly, an old clay bar has kept things from flying off for 2 seasons so far. Also allowed me to shim/shave them so the box was snug and flush. Here’s a pic of the cobble. The felt pad was the last resort but didn’t try it (water retention?)

The longer version are available on Amazon Canada directly from Givi but they are not cheap. They are longer than the originals but this isn't necessarily bad as I find over time they compress/shrink anyway, so while these may be initially a little to long after some time they may be just right. If you don't like the extra length you can trim them to the length of the original ones.

Whenever I replace these I put a dab of clear silicone on the flat surface of the bottom of the bumper to adhere it to the base plate.
