Other V4 bike?

Yes , checking to see if any are nearby, I signed up awhile back and just got permission to post there.
Saw you were asking about the 2000 Yellow VFR on VFRW.... The guy wants too much. It is in good condition, but $3000 even would be a fair price, maybe $3200 - $3300 tops.
- It does have some nice mods, stuff near any viffer owner does.

I made what I thought was a fair offer, the bike has 57,000 miles on it, there is another one on VFRworld with 21,000 miles but he wants $3900. I may circle back but I was trying to find one with fewer miles.

Near all the V4's are a nightmare to work on. The ST is better than most due to its 'odd' configuration, but still can be a PITA. The Magnas, Sabres and other VF's give me the shakes if I think about working on 'em. Just pulling the carbs and reinstalling them is a royal pain vs. inline-4's or v-twins, much less anything more significant. And THAT is why it costs and arm and a leg to have others work on 'em if you don't.

Just sayin...

Agree that its not necessarily straight forward, but then again, that never really stopped me.
