Old Enough To Remember?

I was empressed with the Pioneer I put on Silvy"650 powered Silverwing" 200w into four speakers , the fairing makes one good sounding board. You could here me coming a 1/4 mile away, according to my wife.IMG_5106.jpg

My NH750 with a Rooster before I put a WJ5 on it.

There is a 2x 90w Alpine amplifier behind the head unit.

my silver ford club wagon had a kenwood head unit which powered the four factory speakers, two 750 w amps to power the for boxed 6X9's, one 800w amp to power the two 10" subs, and two 1200w amps to power the two 12" subs. i blew out the left rear door window at least three times and shattered the left side rear window twice, it was somewhat saved by the window tint, what is amazing is the fact that i can hear

I did competition car audio in its heyday late 80's/early 90's. It was alot of fun. After building some high power systems I started to focus on lower power super-clarity systems. It was much harder to achieve great sound with lower power.

That was my goal with the system put in the Caravan (see post #1620). I was going for the best front soundstage quality. With a total of only 385 watts RMS, I certainly wasn't going for sheer volume.
