I met one of those once, I think she was Russian.....
Wonderful pictures. Thanks for posting your trip. Was this the first long ride for your girlfriend? If so she did fantastically well.

She's kinda late starter, got her bike license at 48, started with a Kawa ER-5, agonizing on long hauls, so I got her a Honda NT700VA, very comfy, reliable, easy & precise handling, can't get her off that thing...
She's always eager planning weekend or weekly tours, Norway was the first +2 weeks ride now, a breeze for her... the low traffic density in Scandinavia did ease things of course...

Yeah, the locals complained that this is the summer now, cause all the bad weather prior our tour...
Seems we were lucky, slight drizzle at the day crossing the Arctic Circle, nice and sunny the rest of the time...
