New under mirror light brackets

I assumed you could just pay at pickup since your local. Lights are really your choice. You can do small or big. LED or halogen but I would recommend LED. We're making them 1" longer to accommodate 5" lights. That's what ST11Ray and myself are running but you could do any size you really like.

Think I'd like to go smaller/LED. Any recommendations?
 
Ahh, there's so many. I'm running smaller LED's on my forks. They are PIAA LP270's or check the PIAA website for details. Great light and put out a decent amount of light. If I were you I would 1) do a search here on the site under Forums/ Farkles/Lighting-Visibility or 2) create a thread in the same location asking for opinions on the current LED lights that are people are using. Be aware though that it could result in replies like an oil or tire thread.

If you don't have a taker for the set I spoke for earlier, then I'll be glad to go ahead and pay you for them. Just let me know. I was lured away from the brackets by the GPI farkle!

No problem Skip. I didn’t want you to be stuck with a set based on my previous ‘yes’. Thanks for keeping me in the loop on it though. Really like how the members of this forum watch out for everyone. Are you gonna be in Suches in April? Really like yo meet some of y’all. I’ll be there Saturday.

I'll have a set of original Dick Seng mounts available when I get these new ones.

I'm going to try. I'm supposed to be doing an Iron Butt coast to coast ride the week before so I'll have to see how my bride responds to the question.

Skip will be getting these in hand in a couple of days. I just picked them up. That is a 5 inch LED on them. The picture of the 2 brackets is a black Dick Send and the silver is the ones we just had made.236615236616236617
 
Is that a second hole in the horizontal plane right tight against the vertical plane? What is the intended purpose of it? It seems to be to close to the vertical plane to be able to mount a light to.

That's how the original Dick Seng is that I gave him to copy. I should have told him to move that hole out a little. It doesn't really matter though because all the brackets that come with the lights that I have seen only have one hole anyway. But, you could still get a bolt in there if you wanted.
 
Here's a picture of how tight up against the fairing a 5" light is on the Dick Seng mounts.236627
