The Italian Dark Roast and Panettone are ready. Yes they are. I know.
33 to 39, grey but not as grey, little wind for now.
They say it'll warm up, we'll see I spose.
Nothing too strenuous is planned for the day, but I think it's a day which will evolve into some'at.
I was reading the weather is pretty wild Stateside so if that's you watch ya backs.
Av a gud un and remember, a dozen could be deemed to be enough.
Pffffffftttttt.

@Upt' North Thank you for the coffee. Nothing as exotic here... Nescafe Gold Instant  No breakfast as the good eating during our recent trip is reflecting on mi tum!

Quite a hard frost on the car this morning with clear blue skies, expecting a high of 5c. Got to get the solo out of the garage and checked out, MOT and service tomorrow. First one with our newly found backstreet mech after our long standing dealer and mechs went out of business. He did a nice job on the front forks and discs and seems a really nice guy so pleased to be able to give him my business.

1:40 am Monday, Good morning, yeah should be in bed, bladder needed draining. Well ,got something done yesterday in the Man cave Checked wires coming from the starter relay, mainly the one that feeds the rest of the bike,no corrosion or burned wire, so contact cleaned and Dielectric greased, good to go. Installed a cabinet handle on the top lid of my DeWalt tool box as well, was difficult to open before.IMG_6560.jpgok, going back to bed,G

Good moaning, everyone. Thanks for the coffee and panettone, Ray.

28, feels like 17, high of only 40. Still sun-challenged skies. About 20 degrees below the average for the date. Snow tomorrow night. Yep, complainable weather. At least, it’s not more rain.

Yesterday, I visited a clip joint and got my hairs cut. ‘Bout time, I suppose. On the way home, picked up some Chinese take-out, stuffed my face, and took a nap. Best day ever.

John

good morning all. thanks for the coffee Ray. 51F on the dog walk with a bit of everything to look at, clouds, stars and a bright moon to enjoy as I walked. not much today except for gym this morning. I still haven't gone to Lowes to pick up flood lights to replace the bad ones. I will get around to it. it should be cloudy all day and a high of 74F. enjoy the day

stay safe

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee and pannetone start, Ray.

It's 22, going to 24, with partly cloudy skies and wind. Wind will be 25 to 40 mph, with gusts over 50.
The wind actually woke me earlier, and I worried about the snow blower cover.
It's still on the deck, but the cover for the ice melt bucket has disappeared.

Clearing snow, yesterday took about an hour, and we had puddles where it had melted, but had nowhere for the water to go.
We did a bit of shopping, and had dinner at our favorite Chinese place.

Today, I'll try for a gym visit, and then stay inside.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Good morning all, and thanks for the coffee and Italian deliciousness (or delicious Italianness, if you will), Ray!

Yep, we got walloped, all right. The light flakes that are still coming down should abate shortly, but it's still blowing hard out there and we'll have a couple of hours of blowing snow until the storm moves on definitively. I have to somehow get to the city centre for a dental appointment at 10; taking a vehicle is definitely not advisable, as there's nowhere to park (snow clearing has only barely just begun) and I can't see standing out in blowing snow waiting for a bus, so I'll probably take an Uber. Not a great prospect, now that there's no income coming in, but not much choice. Ah well, I have to believe it'll all work out, one way or the other.

Everyone have a great day, stay safe and go safely. Keith, I hope the rest of your trip home goes smoothly and is thoroughly devoid of any 'incidents' whatsoever.

Patty

Thanks for the dark roast Ray. Been playing nurse to my Doberman. He took a bad fall on the ice and wrecked his back. Was 10 days ago and he's starting to show improvement. -4F here in the frozen tundra this morning. We have an early Vet appt so need to keep rolling

Have a good day and remember be safe out there.

Here in Alabama, we knew (or at least I knew) our early February tease of balmy, 70-degree temperatures were transitory. It does this almost every year. I rolled the trash can to the street this morning, and with highs in the mid-40s decided I don't wanna ride to work, it was 31 when I woke up.
Thanks for the antifreeze Ray, I like it.
The weekend winds took down a tree for me that I'd marked for felling, it's about 60 feet long. It used to be 60 feet high, but the wind changed its attitude. And its altitude. What goes up, often comes down, even if it takes a while. The remaining stump is hollowed out, but it was far enough back in the yard that it didn't hit anything like our house or our cars, and I'll admit that was convenient. More chainsawing in the near future, but not in this cold.
As I'm on my Chromebook, and Google hasn't sync'd my phone pictures, I'll edit to add the trophy shots, but the photos don't look like a 60ft tree. Meanwhile, there are a handful of others to bring down, if the next wind doesn't.
Apparently the winds also blew up some tornadoes in other parts of my state, and it didn't work out well for them, and friends not far away lost power. Winds can get crazy, even though they can feel really good at times. Like, when it's warm outside.
And like John said, the weather bros are murmuring about snow later in the week. Where's April when we need it? It's time for Old Man Winter to pack up and blow himself away from here.
Stay warm, and enjoy your day the best you can. I mean, why would you not want to?

G'mornin y'all! It's 31F/-0.5C here in soMD and bloowwwyyy. Thanks for the tasty Joe & snacks! My holiday morning starts with brekkie for the animal herd then coffee for me.

Today will be spent in the garage and with the airlines to change a flight to visit the MIL. We're expecting a wallop of snow Wednesday into Thurs and we'd like to not be part of that. See if I can slide it right or something, or maybe just cancel it for another wknd. I'd like to avoid a day of sitting in the airport and hearing a nonstop earful of "I told you so" as we wait on standby...nope. I just dunno.

Anyhoo, hope y'all have a good day & take care!

Currently 3* with a high of 7* today. I have things to do but I am not going to do them. If the weather won't play nice then I won't play nice. OK, I'm retired what do I really have to do anyways?

I've been absent. After our Chicago trip I had a minor surgery to deal with a spot of ... I live in Iowa so it should be obvious ... cancer. I knew it was coming so it wasn't that much of a surprise. Just a little spot on my throat at my Adam's Apple. Everything was removed and I'm scheduled for a follow up in six months so everything should be fine. I don't like be cut up especially if I have to be awake during the process.

You cats be safe and show the Doctor your spots. It wasn't the ones I thought were trouble it was the one I never paid attention to. Be proactive.

Morning Ray & All from sunny, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 45F, up from 35F and heading for 52F, They are saying we could see the mid 60Fs by this weekend. And it's still February? A slight breeze already, and later the winds will be out of the WSW @ 15 to 18mph.

The first thing I'll be doing today is to build a stand for the engine to get it high enough in the tray, so I can start pulling off the front cover. I also need to start a list of everything I need and get it ordered, knowing it could take a couple of weeks to get the parts. I also need to go through what I already have, so I don't over order.

Eggs, bacon, toast & OJ for starting the morning. Pepsi(s) of course will come later.

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
