Happy Other New Year! 22°F/-5°C here in SoMD when this crow woke up. Def needing the joe this Monday, anything I can lay my hands on: Ital (TYVM!), my French, even some leftover cold brew. Everyone in the office is thankful I'm WFH today.
The usual work stuff to do along with getting a few things tidyed up in the frickin' cold garage...my $20 kerosene bazooka heater is a godsend! Take care y'all!

Good morning, Woke up at 6:45 this morning, I got some sleep,Yea! Moon sure was beautiful last night, took a picture with cell phone, stars were Visible too. This morning Clouds again,35 F might see 41 F by 2 pm. Today's agenda install carpet drum in Hoover, hopefully getting dressed takes longer, hey how long does it take to put four tiny screws in? Oh yeah, wifey recommended paying dog licenses,90 dollar down the drain.Well Mother nature is calling, so be back in a while. Cheers G

That’s my story….
Morning all! Overcast and 3C right now, 5C will be the high. Chilly ride home tonight.
Had a night of slumber interruptus thanks to the dogs and other assorted interruptions. I think a desk nap may be in the cards. That or sufficient quantities of caffeine. Picked the bike up on Friday so was able to ride in today with working heated grips, brakes and new rubber. The mechanic said to go easy for the first couple hundred klicks or so till the rubber wears in a bit. So wheelies on the way home are out. Again. There always seems to be a reason.....

Currently with last night's lite dusting, melting as the Sun hits it, it is 28F, up from 14F and heading for 33F. We have a slight breeze from the NNE @ 4 to 7mph.

It took me most of the day, recovering from helping the new owner of the ST1100 that 1/4 mile. I won't be surprised if he shows up here, since I told him there are many ST1100 experts on this site.
I'm not sure what will be on the agenda today. So far I have nothing planned, since it's too cold out there. I might warm up the garage and now that I have some extra room, I might rearrange things!
Eggs, bacon, toast & OJ to start the morning. Pepsi(s) to come later.

Sounds like a bunch of ...dog shYte to me. Just for having them?
Grrrr...
Does that payment allow permission to take them wherever the heck you want? I could see fines for owners whose dogs are a public nuisance or such, but just to have a dog... that is absurd, to me. Yeah, I'm the contrarian, particularly when it comes to governance.
(Just in case you didn't know that yet...)
Yeah it's a money grab for the SPCA and City taxes,most annoying is dogs are the only animal you have to License.
I think it's to help ensure people aren't owning above the permitted number of dogs. They've never come and checked or asked for proof of having the dogs etc.
Didn't have the Dog's licensed till someone let them out of our fenced in yard, of course they ended up in the dog pound,once you're in their system you're stuck paying for a license or the fine.
