Don't know how it happened, but my right mirror is cracked. Does anyone know if a replacement glass is available ??

Hi Jim,I couldn't find anything, but a unit replacement for the entire assembly.
The glass alone seemed not to be an option.
I managed to get get my old glass out by gently heating the unit up in the oven (YMMV) which allowed me to ease out the cracked bits from the plastic retainer without damaging the plastic. I use Kevlar gloves and that helped.
I took the assembly to a local glass shop and for $20 they fit up some flat magnifying mirror into the space with some flex adhesive. It's really not very satisfactory. I would prefer the un-magnifying flat mirror, but even then, it seems, I may not be happy.
I looked at mirror assemblies again last week trying to firm up my resolve to swallow the cost of a new one. The originals are sure nice.I broke mine when the old adjustment was stiff and I ended up putting my thumb into it hard enough to make a stress crack.

I had just the glass replaced on my ST13 mirror for $20. I think the OEM replacement unit was $70 or close to that. I do notice that objects appear to be at different distances in the replacement glass versus the OEM one. I'm used to it now and kinda like it.
+1 Had mine replaced at a glass shop $10 for one. free the other one. I liked the flat glass better. Easier to gauge distance. Looking at my avatar, it no longer applies. Aprillia mirrors now.

I'm in the same boat & looking to replace my right rear view mirror. Partzilla #13 in the link below.
Here's the confusion - There's 4 PART Numbers/Codes for #13 ! What's the difference between the three? Will they all fit the 1991 ST1100 fine? It'd be great if you could shed some info on this!

#14 is pointing to the R cover not the glass, there are different numbers because they are different colors.
#16 is the glass and attachment.
#17 is the left and has the colors again.

Thank you Mark, I ordered #13, the Mirror Glass & attachment for the Right side. I was initially confused as to why there were so many product codes for #13, but it seems they are all potentially the same.

#13 is the right mirror assembly, #16 is the left mirror assembly. There may be a cheaper source than Partszilla. Always a good idea to check a few of the others, and factor in shipping.

I did this with the right mirror on my 1100 when it was broken. I found a large blind spot mirror that was big enough at Pep Boys I want to say. Removed the old glass. Made a pattern with paper and drew it out on the mirror with a sharpie. Cut the glass roughly to size (a little big) with a glass cutter. Then used sand paper to custom fit it. Once that was done some tape on the back side to hold it together in case of breaking it again. Som Black RTV Gasket maker in the mirror housing to hold the new mirror in place and popped it in. Works like a champ. I think I did the replacement 7-8 years ago now with no issues. I like it a little better as it has more curve to it so I can see better along side me. Not so good for seeing something a long ways behind me but I have my other mirror for that.
