Here's a long discussion thread
LED bulb. F2, F3 or F3 with an F2 sheild. Many of us have them.

Our resident expert @spiderman302 recently had this to say:

"
f2 - best https://www.amazon.com/KATANA-H4-9003-Headlight-Bulbs/dp/B07JM421VC?th=1

or f3 - a bit brighter https://www.amazon.com/Alla-Lighting-Conversion-Replacement-Motorcycles/dp/B07T8SDCBB

or f3 leds with f2 shield. The one I recommend to others at the moment. https://www.amazon.com/Cougar-Motor-H4-Headlight-Conversion/dp/B082MDGVDC?th=1
"

Just make sure you get the H4 plug end.

In europe, there are now road-legal LED's H7 from Philips. They have CE approval.. I really like them..

How do you connect an H7 bulb to an H4 connector, or do European bikes have a different connector than NA bikes?

EU bikes have the H4 connector. H7's might be possible to physically fit, but are only single filament I believe?

LED bulbs (in incandescent housings) are still technically not road legal at all in the UK, but the DfT appears to be experimenting - they've told our annual roadworthyness testers that they should not fail motorcycles with LED bulbs so long as the beam pattern and brightness still otherwise complies. :) Mine passed with F2s fitted a couple days ago.
