Let's Coffee Café, 02/15.

Morning Ray & All from mixed clouds and Sun, in Southern Utah!

Currently it is 38F, up from 30F and heading for 44F. We got a dusting last night, which should be gone by the time I get out there. We also got a little rain over the last couple of days, but not enough to satisfy the dry ground. No breeze yet, later, the winds will be out of the N@ 10 to 15mph.

Once again, I didn't get back to cleaning the engine, maybe today. Yesterday, Chris want to go for an early lunch, to avoid the crowds, and after talking to a neighbor, it was pretty much time to go. At least we had a nice Valentines lunch! ;)

Eggs, bacon, toast & OJ to start the morning. My beverage (Pepsi) of choice will be had later!

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Good morning from the PNW (eastern Oregon) and thanks for the DR Ray. 35 dreary degrees warmung to 37. Some snow predicted, but of course at these temps it won't stick. We still have about 4" on the ground, down feom about 8" 2 days ago.
Confined to the house for a few days, started with pink eye a week ago, transitioning to a nasty sinus bug. Right side of my face, jaw and neck swollen... feel like napping all day. Was given a regimen of ibuprofen, saline rinses, nasal sprays and the like to loosen and clear whatever is keeping me hostage.
I will keep an eye on the pot, the rest of you do what needs doin, even if it is skiing ;)
Praying and pulling for you Patti. Use my name if you need to :D

I'm envious.... no ski slopes for daily use here (apart from artificial slopes which I will not use as I've only ever ski'd on snow). Just returned from a weeks skiing in Norway. 2,200 miles covered en-route out through Netherlands, Germany and Denmark with a ferry to Larvik (nr Oslo). Return down through Sweden, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands. Worst conditions were around Bremen (Germany) on the return. One reasonably light snowfall caused bedlam on the Autobahn ringroad, but only lasted for about 60km.

In Norway, in the resort of Geilo had a great hotel, although the poor Norwegians had to speak English at the bar and in the restaurant as virtually all the staff were other EU nationals. On the slopes we had superb conditions, albeit very cloudy and the light was a bit flat on the first two days. Nice temps throughout the week (daytime -1c to -6c, nightime -6c to -10c) although the night before our departure was -17c and the first 3 hrs of the journey back were around that level. Astonishingly, Chief of Staff, who is usually either Lindsay Vonn or Bambi on Ice depending how she wakes in the morning :roflmao: was stellar all week and I had a real job keeping with her on the slopes! Personally. I think when the ski's were prepared her's were waxed with a quicker wax than mine

It looks like you had a great trip!
We decided to forego the trip to Switzerland this year, due to the kitchen/bath reno, so no week-long trips for me. I'm looking forward to seeing what the tour leader proposes for next year's skiing.
I may do a few day trips North into NH or Maine, though, since I have a pass for 4 days at the resorts that include, Loon, Shugarloaf, and Sunday River. Loon's about 2.5 hrs away, I've never been to Sugarloaf, and Sunday River is in Maine. I've been there, but not in years.

Regards,
Steve

Good afternoon, me excited just ordered a clutch master cylinder for me bike, eBay seller MDL-S-motorsports had a smaller bore one , came off VFR800 . Plan is to lighten the pull in effort, hands are a lot weaker lately and middle finger has developed a annoying trigger finger problem. One of our members has done this mod and was pleased with it so my turn. Oh yeah $70 Canadian after the exchange, new from Honda if available was over $500 ouch.
