Other beverages will be allowed but not dwelled upon.
The Italian Dark Roast and Croissants are aplenty, help ya'selves.
A wintry mix and 31 to 39. It feels a lot like Januaryland.
Yesterday passed without too much romance, always a blessing, and the painting and tyre fixing was successful.
I was amazed how corroded the wheel studs were on the motor, they didn't want to come out, but they did.
Today will be a calmer affair, I believe we need something from the splendiferous Wooler deli and someone mentioned green vegetables! Weird.
Av a gud un and remember, if you visit foreign parts be nice.

Mornin’, everyone. Thanks for the delicious bean juice, Ray.

It’s a bit warmer this morning, 47 but feels like 37, due to the blustery 20-35 MPH wind. Afternoon’s high should reach 46 with continuous drenching rain. Flood watch in effect til Sunday. Yep, complainable weather, if that’s even a word.

Danka Ray. Good morning the rest of my virtual coffee compadres.

-14/-23 and clear. Sun's just about to crest the horizon. -7/-14 will be the predicted high. Another storm and warnings in effect for tomorrow though, Sunday afternoon in to Monday afternoon. Mix of snow, rain, hail, ice pellets etc once again, up to 30cm / 1'. Guess I'll have to ensure I have gas for the snow blower and generator.

Have a super Saturday!

Obo.

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee's and croissants Ray.

We're at the end of our visit to Vietnam, and head home tomorrow evening. It's been a great couple of weeks, on top of two great weeks in Laos.

Photos to come when the wifi signal is better.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them.

good morning all. a thank you for Ray who made the coffee. 45F on the dog walk with clear sky and a bright moon. clouds must of had the morning off as I didn't see any around. I'm on my own today as the wife is going to a dog thing up in Coolidge. dog #2 and I are going to stay home and hold down the fort. I might have to go to Lowe's to pick up a new motion flood light to replace one that's not working. the high today should see 65F. enjoy the day

stay safe

Thx Ray, and Dave!

Just above freezing, a coldsty wind from east, sunny.

Daughter and family showed up yesterday bringing fancy burgers and fries. Very good.
She also told us they had booked another two weeks at Gran Canary next January for us all….
I’m a lucky man to have such nice kids.

Been for a cold walk.
Snot and tears.

Shrimps and wine later.

Have a good one!
Stu

From todays walk, trees are our friends…

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Ray.

It's 20, going to 28 in MA this morning.
Weather Underground says it's cloudy, but the bright sun showing through our front window says otherwise.
It WILL cloud up, and we'll get some snow, later. That is supposed to continue till tomorrow.

Yesterday's skiing went well. I got a little under 3 hours in, before heading home.
It was a bit "crusty" to start, since they'd groomed the wet snow the night before, and it all froze, overnight. All of the skis and boards loosened it up, though.
Brenda and I brought our old microwave to ReStore, and headed to Valentine's Day Linner.

Today might involve some shopping, and I'd like to get out for a walk.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

G'morning all, thanks for the coffee and croissants, Ray. You do spoil us.

We had a bright, sunny day yesterday after Thursday's big storm. And big, it was. Dumped a whole passel o' white stuff on us. I have to clear it off my balcony today before the next onslaught; another mega storm will start dumping snow and blowing snow on us at around 4 this afternoon and continue to do so all day and all night tomorrow and most of Monday. This one will leave us with as much, if not more, snow than the last one. The city snow-clearing crews have only scratched the surface from the first storm and now they'll have to start all over again. It's going to take a couple of weeks.

Gotta go, lots to do. Have a good one, folks. Stay safe and go safely.

Patty

I'm envious.... no ski slopes for daily use here (apart from artificial slopes which I will not use as I've only ever ski'd on snow). Just returned from a weeks skiing in Norway. 2,200 miles covered en-route out through Netherlands, Germany and Denmark with a ferry to Larvik (nr Oslo). Return down through Sweden, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands. Worst conditions were around Bremen (Germany) on the return. One reasonably light snowfall caused bedlam on the Autobahn ringroad, but only lasted for about 60km.

In Norway, in the resort of Geilo had a great hotel, although the poor Norwegians had to speak English at the bar and in the restaurant as virtually all the staff were other EU nationals. On the slopes we had superb conditions, albeit very cloudy and the light was a bit flat on the first two days. Nice temps throughout the week (daytime -1c to -6c, nightime -6c to -10c) although the night before our departure was -17c and the first 3 hrs of the journey back were around that level. Astonishingly, Chief of Staff, who is usually either Lindsay Vonn or Bambi on Ice depending how she wakes in the morning :roflmao: was stellar all week and I had a real job keeping with her on the slopes! Personally. I think when the ski's were prepared her's were waxed with a quicker wax than mine

I’m back for seconds. Teddy took two steps outside and decided he’d hold it in a little longer. He hates the rain as much as I do.

The strong south winds have pushed the heaviest rain to the north, into Kentucky, and it looks like Virginia and DC are next in the path. Totals expected are now 3-4” instead of 5-8”. Still too wet to plow.

Good morning, Thanks Ray for the coffee and croissants, Dave you made me laugh this morning, thanks I needed that. Had a good Valentine's Day with the wife. She was happy with the card I got here, dinner was out to Sharkey's Bar and grill. We had Sea food fettuccine and a fancy salad.
Today's agenda, usual, eat , take meds , maybe a nap, this evening go to a mutual friend's 70th birthday party. Might spend some time in the shop need to check some wiring on Lady, read on the forum hear that some connection are prone to corrosion. Happy this morning with being able to get my riding boots on, one step closer to being Fit to Ride,Yeah!
Weather Raining,2C windy at 13 mph,no moon, wah. That's about all I got, have a good day All, G

Morning all! Overcast and rainy here. Currently 3C with a predicted high of 6C. We still have a bit of snow on the ground but it's disappearing quickly. It looks like rain will be theme for the rest of the weekend so that should accelerate the process.

Today will be spent trying to get an appointment at the after hours primary care to see if they have something that will tame this darn cough. On the upside, I should have abs of steel by the time it passes given how much of a workout the lungs and diaphragm are getting. Other than that, low and slow. Likely ensconced in my recliner or bed with numerous naps. It's the good life....

Hope everyone has a great day and survives whatever weather apocalypse gets thrown your way!

Oh, it's nice to have coffee at the ready for me. Thanks Ray! The dogs again ruined a sleep-in Saturday. So I punted them outside, fed 'em, then left them to the wife while I crawled back under the covers. Ahhhhhhhh...... I usually only get an extra hour or so before my brain kicks in with all I have to get done, but not today. Three hours later...*blinbkblink* 10:10?!? And I was planning to be out the door at 10:30 to get my do-list done! But FIRST...coffee!

A pleasant 41F/5C as we expect more rain later today, hence why I wanted to get out the door earlier. Oh well. Picking up a snowblower to flip, returning a battery (hopefully for refund under warranty), and returning some stuff to Cramazon. We've got another snowmaker coming in Wednesday/Thursday, so would be nice to make a few bucks off of other people's panicking. Time to jet, so take care y'all!

Good coffee, Ray. I already drank one pot by myself, but that's certainly no reason not to have another cup. Here, I even brought my own mug.

Don't bother getting up, I can find it.

Yep, complainable weather, if that’s even a word.
Well, it is now. I've always enjoyed making up my own words, since I am a master of the English language. (IF y'all are wondering who bestowed me with the title, why I did, of course. Nobody knows me as well as me.)

Today I'll ride downtown to the Civic Center for the annual RV show. Wander around, dream a little bit, and do some prospecting for clients. I know a couple of retiree couples who are living large in their not- small motor coaches, and roaming around the continent. One friend, and former rider, sets up at RV parks as their resident manager, and lives there rent free for a few months at a time... and he's paid for it. Florida in the winter, out West somewhere, in the summers. He's done it so long now, that it's a regular gig.

So anyway... toy haulers, especially, are fun to look at.

Forty percent chance of rain while I'm down there today, with high near 70. May get to test out the rain gear again.
