Left headlight bulb not working

Glad you found the problem, those wires where they run up and over things near the steering head sometimes get worn through.
 
My Vfr is blowing bulbs sometimes and I think it may be a bad connection or a short somewhere,finding the problem though isn't easy.
Well done on sorting your bike out.
