"too much morning
not enough coffee..."

G'Day...

12°/22°C, partially cloudy, quite sultry actually... severe rain and possible thunderstorms predicted for evening/night...
but forecasts vary, depending on which shaman/source you're following...

Again deeply asleep when the alarm sounded, that dreaded DST still bugs... GF also quite "lame" and hard to drag out the bunk... :o-o:

Office, moderately busy...

Waded through massive amounts of (Terramaster) forum threads and entries and finally unearthed a possible solution to my NAS replacement/upgrade... t.b.c.

Local parts service for the irrigation pump responded, quoting the replacement pressure-switch at € 112,32,-...
The whole pump came for € 399,-... pfffff...
Ordered a switch/pump controller in "the big river" for € 28,50,-... basically looks the same, but light-blue/gray instead of black...
With the check-valve made of brass and obviously located at the top of the assy now, this might even proof to be a better design, as it will actually drain when emptying the pump-housing for the winter...
Complaining about too much spare time? Get a partner with a house and some property... guarantied always something to tinker besides your regular life... ;)

GF already keen on our short, 5 day vacation/ride-out next month...
Kinda infected with the Scandinavian bug she apparently booked a cabin somewhere remote in the woods... gonna get interesting ;)

Enjoy the week divider!

Thx Martin!
Hmmmm, where are you heading?
You’re into some serious fun there!

11˚c/52f, sunny, a chilly breeze from north.

Peter is coming over.
He’s too sick for kindergarten, and too well to be at home, so he’ll be steaming off with me today.
We have a boat wash on the agenda.
And hotdogs.

Have a good one!
Stu

Is it the second coming…?

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee Martin.

It's 54°F and clear in Lansdale. 75 and clear is the expectation.

We moved some furniture to another location yesterday. We'll go back today to put it on the curb for collection by anyone who cares to have it, free for the price of hauling it away.

This will be my last full day here, but Mrs. Fun may linger a while longer.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

good morning all. thanks for the coffee Martin. 61F on the dog walk. had clear sky with lots of stars but mr moon was nowhere to be found at 0200 as I walked. Oh well he will show up.
went to the foot doctor yesterday and made an appointment to remove the toe nail from my left big toe next Monday.. Oh boy that will make shifting the ST difficult for a few weeks.
got gym class this morning and sparkplugs and wires to replace on my 99 subaru this afternoon. kind of a busy day today. the high should be 87F. enjoy the day

stay safe

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee, Martin.

It's sunny and 48 this morning, rising to 70 with more sun, later

Yesterday's track day went well and the event was lightly attended. No more than 10 cars on track at any time.
I took the neighbor's pup for a short walk, before sundown, just for some exercise. We ended up doing sprints down main street.

Today, I'll head over to the dentist for a semi-annual checkup and cleaning.
I've also got to start arranging my gear for this weekends motorcycle event.
And porch work.
We'll see what gets done.

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Good morning, all, and thanks for the coffee, Martin!

It's currently 5°C/41°F here in my part of the world, and I'm looking out my window at blue sky with a few fluffy clouds. Conditions should remain mainly sunny for the rest of the day, and the temperature will climb to a pleasant 14°C/57°F.

Welp, lots to do and too little time, so I'll get a move on. Everyone have a great day, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Appreciate the coffee, Martin, and I'm looking forward to your twisty videos after a bit. And you are correct about property owners and the resultant chores... and I don't even have an in-ground sprinkler system.

I woke up to find a genuine life emergency at the coffee pot this morning. I ground the beans, filled the pot with water, dumped the grounds in there with it, and placed the paper filter and measured a healthy dose of fresh coffee dust and turned it on... I have a power light but no pumping water to douse the coffee in the basket. The heater-burner isn't warming, either.

GAAAAAHHHHH!

So I measured water into a pan, turned the stove eye on High, and poured the ground coffee into the pot. Once boiling, I poured it back through the filter basket with the pot beneath it, and it dripped through. Mmmmmmmmmm. Another tragedy narrowly avoided! But that obviously means a new coffee maker must be procured this afternoon, for this is an unsustainable situation. This coffee tastes great, but a drip machine makes it much more convenient. And quicker, too.

Per @Peppermint, I obviously need to remind my boss about Easter Monday. And all my previous bosses, too, because I've never expected nor experienced a day off following Resurrection Sunday.

It's cloudy, expecting scattered showers, highs around 80, but I can't think of anything right now because of the morning coffee trauma drama. May your coffee machine never let you down.

Good Morning, thanks Martin for coffee, not awake yet, need another cup. Today's agenda, help wife to get ready to go to our vacation spot, so she can pay the property taxes. Then I will be on my own unattended, looking forward to that.
40 F at the moment warming to 62 F Sunny with a calm breeze of 3 mph. Have a wonderful day G

Good morning, everyone. Thanks for the cup, Martin.

It’s a beautiful sunny 58 this morning, headed toward 78, with some possible showers by late afternoon. I got the mowing finished yesterday, so some some trimming of shrubbery may follow today.

@Sadlsor Sorry bout the coffee maker. I worked where most of the heaters (all brands) were made. We produced over 150,000 a WEEK, every week, for over 17 years. Average price to the manufacturers was around $.60. It’s a pity you can’t buy a replacement heater, at that price, for the drip models.

John

Solved my flying beetle problem by turning off my security light, but the mockingbirds are mad about losing their morning buffet.

Morning all! Sunny and beautiful again today. I foresee a nice long walk at lunch. 6C now, 15C later.

Back to the office today after yesterday's first aid adventure. Managed to pass with room to spare. Helps when the instructor "reviews" the exam prior to writing it. I am now on call for assorted first aid emergencies in our office; paper cuts and the like no doubt. I should see about getting some danger pay.....

Hope everyone has a great day and for the love of pete can someone please explain to me why in-laws feel the need to adjust toaster settings?!?!? The sheer malicious malevolent evil of it all.......

You're lucky she didn't rearrange all your dishes, cups, cook- and tableware in your cabinets and drawers... :roflmao:
(BTDT with the MIL of an EX GF, I kid you not... pfffff...)

My sister, on one of visits, wanted to move my silverware drawer to the opposite side of the sink because, “Everyone knows to put silverware on that side!”

I put it back, after she went home.
