Honda filed a trademark application for the "NT1100"

Why doesn't Honda here our prayers. In 46 years of motorcycle ownership I've had 1 Kawasaki, 2 Harleys, 1 Buell, 2 Triumphs(current 07 1050 Sprint), 3 Suzuki's, 3 Hondas(current 99 ST1100) and 6 Yamahas. I am not a huge brand loyalist ( if you can ignore the 6 Yamahas ). I look at all the brands similarly as I do the many sporting breeds of dogs, a very satisfying respect and experience to have had, wish I could have had many more, dogs and motorcycles, a few are still in my future. We have been so fortunate to have lived through this era of progression to the sport. Its possible another Honda is in my future, but it will not be anything that is not currently on the market.
I will never have enough of the things I've enjoyed the most, and regret I will never have some of the things I've dreamed of, and still do. But many are still attainable and keep the future brighter. Now if Honda had never produced a motorcycle, my life would not have been less pleasurable, the void would have been filled comparably by another brand and I would have not been unfortunate to not have had the experience. Same for any brand. With the pace we are being thrust into the future I do not believe much time remains for the hope Honda will answer our ST prayers, nor do I see any of the others bringing us much more than is currently available. And I am perfectly comfortable with that, and feel very fortunate to have witnessed (I never would have dreamed it would go this far) this era in motorcycling.

Wish Honda would come out with new gl1200 wing much like the 85 with same luggage capacity, but of course totally updated to today’s specs

That Honda concept bike is too little, way too late. No thanks. It's not any better than my 99 1100.

The Tracer GT is the new king sport tourer. Well, the new '21 Tracer 9 GT is. I'll take mine in red please.

The last I saw almost everybody here complained that it was the new ST. The CTX was billed by Honda (at least in their ads) as an overnight/weekend bike. Hardly a downsized 'Wing.

Totally agree. Too me a wing has to have a flat 4 or 6. If they can make a lighter better flat 6, they can do it with a 4.

Wikipedia reads

"The CTX1300 succeeded the ST1300, (also called the "Pan-European" in Europe), which was discontinued after the 2012 model year. In November 2013, following deletion of the ST1300 model, Honda announced the CTX1300, which was powered by a version of the ST1300's engine [...]"

Even with the European saddle bag covers, the capacity seemed limited.

Cycle World:
"It takes around six months to get trademarks approved, provided there are no objections, so the firm should have the rights in time for a model launch somewhere around the fourth quarter of 2021, when the 2022 range is expected to be unveiled."
