you're absolutely correct, thanks for the correction, I had the terms confused. For years I rode bikes with pistons on both sides of the caliper that had no slider pins, so I often forget that the ST has that style caliper.Pads are held in place with the hanger pins. The slider pins are what the caliper slides on. One is part of the caliper, the other is part of the bracket.
The caliper body will not move. I've removed the caliper assy. and will take it into work tomorrow to free it up.Remove the wheel and brake pads, then gently pull the caliper body off the bracket (so you don’t tear the rubber slider pins’ boots/covers/protectors).
Bummer. Please keep us poSTed. Pictures would be welcomed. The caliper body will not move. I've removed the caliper assy. and will take it into work tomorrow to free it up.
I'll break it down once I've freed up the sliders.Bummer. Please keep us poSTed. Pictures would be welcomed.

That whole dragging thing was a — an adventure. Any idea what caused the pin to bend? Installed by Beckham?Just came back from a 1300 mile loop through New York and Pennsylvania and everything's good.
