He he. He said Woody....Nice Woody
???The station wagons are more impressive than the 'Wing. Shame you can't get anything like them anymore.
But none of those are quite like the old 'tanks' that felt like you were sitting in a mobile living room. You can still get station wagons, just not in American made cars.

Hey now!!!!I've always preferred blue on bikes for some reason.. I don't know why Honda doesn't do that color more on the Wing.
They must be using a Pennsylvania Rat to pick colors with darts...
...apologies to anyone in Pennsylvania...
I guess I should have said with decent interior volume that I can afford. Old Ford Taurus or Nissan Maxima wagon comes to mind as slightly more modern wagons. Ford Flex is pretty much spot on but discontinued in '19 and now they want a fortune for used ones. You can still get station wagons, just not in American made cars.

Hell, most pickups can't either!!!None of these new wagons pass the real test of a Station wagon and that is being able to take a 4×8 sheet of plywood.
I believe you are right, have never heard of anyone flying a station wagon that way.I can claim that I have done something that I believe no one else has ever done. I actually flew, yes flew, a 1969 Chevrolet Impala Station wagon. In the late 1970's my brother and I used to build hang gliders. As we developed designs we found a need to test structural integrity as well as pitch stability of these gliders. Since we did not have a wind tunnel we bought a 1969 Impala station wagon and welded a platform on the roof with a large gimbal mount where we could mount a full size hang glider. We could then drive the vehicle at various speeds and change the angle of attack load the airframe up and film the structure with an 8mm movie camera and see how the airframe deformed as hang gliders are very flexible. We could also measure stability with scales attached to the airframe. One day we decided to run a destructive test on the airframe. I was the driver of the vehicle. At a little over 70mph we were amazed to actually lift the huge impala off the ground without breaking the airframe. It was an odd feeling to be driving and have the steering all of a sudden go away as the vehicle left the ground.
They worked but took to much time to take the wings off and put them back on, and mechanical skill.
