I can't tell you exactly who I heard this from but I know a person who worked for Honda for many years, now retired. This could be wrong but the 2025 Goldwing may have lowering suspension which makes putting it on the center stand rather unique. With the suspension raised the center stand can be flipped down and then the suspension lowered down on to it. No pulling or lifting the bike onto the center stand. The other addition will be Lidar cruise and blind spot monitoring as well as increased luggage capacity. There is a possibility of an increase in HP and torque as well. I could be completely wrong about this - it is just a rumor.

The increased luggage would be nice. The rest is meh.

Wait, I just bought new last year. Damn.
When I was growing up my parents spoke of some neighbor who traded in his car every year. You could be one of those folks doing that with a motorcycle!

The loss I'd take to trade wouldn't be worth it, and I'd ever be able to private sell it as it's still "new" enough folks would just buy brand new for a little bit more.

Guess I'm buying another pull behind trailer for it! :)

What you said is of course, true. However, people who get a new car every year (or did back then - I don't know anyone who does that today (maybe I just run in the wrong circles)) don't worry about the loss of $$$. It's all about conspicuous consumption.

The goldwing is in my opinion is the quintesential bike and the barometer of two up riding; the only question that begs, is which one is the high water mark, has it happened already? or is it yet to come.

I like the styling of that bike, still looks like a bike.

I expect the 2025 GW will have the location of every Dairy Queen in the US pre-programmed into its NavSat.

Actually I don't know how GWs and DQs became a meme but a stop at one is always welcome by me.

Suspension by Citroën? That seems like a stretch.

Were I motivated it would be the Tour DCT with the throne removed and replaced by an On Again/Off Again Shad or some other tasteful trunk.

Increased luggage capacity seems like it could be. Did Honda do that once with the new Wing? But Lidar cruise control? Blind spot monitoring? That seems like wishful thinking during an after hours sake meeting.

Well(yawn) the 2025 Gold Wing has been announced - Pretty new paint - very little else new other than wirelesCarply and Android Auto. The person I know at Honda told me they were testing LIDAR and the lowering suspension but I guess that may be coming in the future.

yeow.... no thanks on that color scheme...
