Fuel Cut-off Relay bypass?

BTW, I did an IBA ride with Ward Blanchard ( RIP ) who is the oldest Rider to ever do an IBA SS1K ride. Ward was 89 when he successfully completed the ride on a Can-Am Spyder..

I can hardly remember when I could ride a bike with clip-ons. If I tried that today, I'm afraid my back would take on a permanent curvature.

I just purchased a ST1100 and its having fuel problems also, fuel pump won't run unless wired direct to battery. Tried unplugging fuel relay but can't seem to get jumper wires in correct order to bypass it. Any chance somebody could advise on which wires to bypass relay to check for problems.
Thanks

correct bike doesn't run unless fuel pump wired direct. I called a few local shop and no one stocks this fuel cut off relay so before ordering I was looking for other options instead of chasing the wrong direction. Bikes a 1995 with 29000 miles I put about 2500 miles on it this summer after a carb. cleaning and things were great til now.

I will post photos as soon as I get it out the basement this week.

So what happened to the pics of this "street fighter"?

You really should start a new thread for your problem.

your best bet is to get a wiring diagram (link below) and trace out the path to the fuel pump, there's a few different things in the path as I recall from another thread on the topic. BTW, that relay is a special Honda part, not a generic automotive one, so you won't be able to swap in a cheap relay if that turns out to be your problem. Its a SCR relay, and quite pricey if Honda has one to sell.
