12935 Cortez Blvd, Brooksville, FL.Texas Roadhouse Restaurant. The sky makes it look to be west of Orlando.
Yeah. There are about a half dozen of them around Central Florida. I zoomed in to look at the address.
I'm looking for a BBQ joint my old riding buddy took me to several years ago. It was somewhere in the middle of no where, it seems in or near Ocala forest. We rode and rode for hours. I had no idea where we were. It seems we came around a curve to a "T" intersection and there was a BBQ joint doing a fairly brisk business. Anyone know where it is or was?
Yes, I am.Well that big sea cow didn't last long. You must be liking the new bike.
Dang it I went right by that place. Good to see you out riding ELC.

Every time I see a post in the Florida tag game I am curious to know why there are so many different tag regions for Florida. I believe that most other areas, including many states that are much larger, only have one tag region. It would be nice if @Mellow could add a sticky first post to the FL tag threads showing the FL tag boundaries.
Florida tag boundaries:
Western FL tag game- is from U.S. Rt 319 (East edge of Tallahassee) and on West to the Alabama border.
Northern FL tag game - from U.S. Rt 319 (East edge of Tallahassee) down to Florida State Road "SR40" (Ocala) including 40 through Yankeetown.
Central FL tag game - from Florida State Road "SR40" and on South to Florida State Road "SR70" (Okeechobee).
Southern FL tag game - from Florida State Road "SR70" (Okeechobee) and on South to Key West.
Well, it's 800ish miles from Key West to Pensacola. That's a little tough for a Saturday afternoon ride. I'm pretty sure there's a few here that would be happy to move a tag from one end of the state to the other, but all that would do is lead to a lot of Rule #8 invocations.Every time I see a post in the Florida tag game I am curious to know why there are so many different tag regions for Florida. Is it because of the unusual shape of Florida?
Yup. It's 830 miles to the other end of the state from my house. Chicago is only 22 miles farther from my house.Every time I see a post in the Florida tag game I am curious to know why there are so many different tag regions for Florida.
