Hi All! Started my ST1300 today for the first time since last fall and the FI light came on showing a Code 2 error. Bike was in the garage during some construction works this winter and there was a lot of dust. I wonder if this can be related? I tried to reset the code following the procedure found in the forum with the jumper but keeps coming back. Starts normally and FI indicator is not flashing. It starts flashing as soon as the engine start to rev a little faster during warm up. Doesn’t go away after. Thanks in advance for your help and I wish you all a great motorcycle season!

Often is a plugged up five-way Tee (vacuum hose issue).

Thanks for the reply. Is there by any chance a video on that « procedure » somewhere?

It's some work to get to it, you have to raise the tank and remove the air box.

Easier access if you remove the upper tank (run it dry first, to flashing tank level lights).

Try searching the site on this 5-way Tee.

It is not very sturdy, so best to have one or two spares on hand before you get there and disconnect/connect it from the vacuum lines.

And while you are there.....many have changed the length/routing of the vacuum lines to raise the 5-way so it is not on the bottom of this vacuum manifold like it is now and where it can collect slush and plugs up. Worth doing while you are at it.

Not a quick job!
