My 2012 was almost new, just a shade over 300 miles on it when I passed over the check! In the neighborhood of 11,100 now...... and for you OCD types, if I remember, I'll try to get a photo of 11,111 ..... but I will try for 111,111 in a few years. (Let's see, another 100,000 miles, averaging 5,000 a year .... I may be pretty old by them!)
Unfortunately the 2005 is also demanding attention so I have to share weekly miles between them!

Bought my brand new, still in the crate, 2004 in 2007, and still have it. Only 60k miles, but I have had several other bikes alongside the ST, but now they are all gone, and it is the only bike I still have.

New first year 1100 (91) until new first year 1300 (2003). Put about 80k on the 1100 and 96k on the ST 1300 until I stopped riding two years ago at 84 years. The only car I ever bought used was a barn find 32 Ford 5 window coup which I spent my late teen age years turning into the best hot rod in my part of NJ. Since then all new cars and bikes. Actually out of my three houses two were new including my current lake front house which we had built in'86 and I hope to leave in a pine box, but no hurry!

Bought my '06 used in '07 with 4k miles on it. I'm still riding it now with 100k miles on it but thinking hard about selling it and getting a new Africa Twin Adventure Sport ES.

Bought my ‘18 Wing new, and will probably ride it until I give up riding.

I bought it with ZERO miles (see picture), but they wouldn’t let me take it, until they had put 3 miles on it. They said it was Honda’s rule, that a newly assembled bike had to be test ridden by a technician, before delivery.

Got mine new with 0.1 miles on it... That was only 8 months ago though, I only have 2200 miles on it now. So, yes and yes. :D

Bought my barely used 2010 (2486mi) in 2014 and am still riding it with 94450+ on the odo. Also, have a 94 1100 with about the same miles but have only ridden it from outside the garage to inside the garage once. Been on the lift ever since May, 2020.

I bought my 2007 new in April of 2007 and traded it in April of this year with 95,000 miles. It was still going strong and I miss certain aspects of it. What I don't miss is the weight. I dropped it in the garage and needed help picking it up, and at 73, I don't need a ruptured back if this were to happen on a lonely highway. Three days later I was on a new 900 Tracer GT.

I bought a 2021 Tracer 9GT 2 years ago and loved it. Six months ago, a bought a 2012 ST1300 with only 2K miles on it. Love the ST, too! They are night and day different, but both great at what they do.

Curious as to how many are still riding STs they bought new. Note that new doesn't necessarily mean 0 miles, i.e. maybe it had a hundred miles or so due to test rides or something like that. I've enable the option to vote more than once depending on how many STs you've owned... I know some of you have owned more than one. ;)
Thanks for asking old friend. Yes I bought my 2006 ST1300 showroom new in May of 2009. 1.4 miles I think on it. Still riding it a bunch. 414,893 miles as of today and still counting them up.

Bought my 2004 new and my wife and I rode it on several long trips. Made a mistake and sold it to pay for a Kawasaki Concours and a trip to the Tail of the Dragon. Found it on Craigslist for half what I sold it for. With a whole bunch of "Rode Hard And Put Away Wet" miles on it ( Total of a whoppin' 1400 in 2 years).
Bought it back and now back in its saddle again. Will never leave us again.
When I can't ride anymore it goes to the end of the driveway with a mailbox on the tail and cement around the wheels

Bought my 2012 almost new, with about 2300 miles on it in 2013. Over 184,000 and still going.

Yes, I bought my 2005 ST1300 new in the crate. If I’m correct, $16,900 plus tax Canadian. Non ABS. And no, I sold it with 50K miles on it in 2010. Used to go by st1300honda (original, eh?) back then.

Have had 3 FJR’s since, currently a 2020 purchased new in spring of 2021. Now has 26K miles on it. Hence the call sign FJRider now. (Still original )

ST's are another bike I never saw much of on the showroom floor. Mostly cruiser style, crotch rockets and dual sport bikes.
Agreed. In 2005 I had to order mine in from the Honda warehouse and watched while assembled. None on the showroom floor. The ST seemed to have more visibility in monthly motorcycle magazines back then than the dealers showrooms.

I think about Paul often. Oh the places he has been since we said goodbye!

I bought a 2005 on 2/4/2006 and sold it 12 years later with 180,000 miles on the odometer. For most of those 12 years I thought I'd be on an ST forever but things change. For a while I also had a project 2006 next to the 05. The 06 had fairing damage from a crash but I really didn't have room in my life for two ST1300s so I sold it. A forum member used it for a sidecar tug.
