December 1th - Sunday Coldness

Morning all! Still somewhat dark here, unlike myself whose fully in the dark. 4C right now, 9C later with some sun.

My mother in law arrives today for a bit....5 days....I think. She's going to assist with all the little return to the house tasks now that most of the heavy lifting is done.....well.... heavier lifting. I have no doubt further heavy lifting is in my near future as the resident designer will need to try out different stylistic themes.

So begins the onslaught of house guests for the next month and a half....thankfully I have to work for a good chunk of it and ride the ST to get there. Something something silver and linings...

Hope everyone has a great day and gets a lift , be it a ride, face or mood!

Morning Nick & All from sunny, but COLD, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 20F, up from 16F and heading for 47F. No breeze yet, but later, we'll see the winds out of the NNW @ 6 to 7mph.

Since our (Chris's) Thanksgiving plans all fell apart, and ole softee me knew she wanted to be around family, somehow, and knowing that two of our boys were flying into SoCal, to be with their wife's families, I let her talk me into a quick trip to SoCal on Wednesday. Also, our oldest invited us to spend Thanksgiving with them, at his SIL's temporary quarters. The hotel for the three days was almost $600, plus gas, so it wasn't a cheap quickie, but it made Chris happy. :wink-2x:

We got home last night, beating the heavy traffic back.

We'll be recovering today, so not much will be done.

Boiled eggs. bacon. toast & OJ to start the morning. Pepsi(s) will be in my future!

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

What a cutie Kara is, Mr Proud Grandfather!!

Well today's Sun didn't last long and temps barely got over freezing. I did get the salt sprayed off the wing and my winter mag rims pressure washed to remove the stick on weights and glue tape they use. Just after finishing, the skies turned ominous, started with a bit of rain, then turned to hard hail and some snow while we were out getting cat food, groceries and supper. The drive home was dicey in spots. The plows have been up and down the road in front of the house a few times now, both plowing and applying sand and/or salt.

Yup, unless there's some sort of weather anomaly, I think the 2024 season is done for me despite there being a bit over 4 weeks left. I was so close to my 10K goal on the new wing too....
