Well just hit 75,000 miles on the way home from WISTOC. I can only claim about 20,000 miles as mine.

The amber-on-black is the original display coloring, right? Isn't that what some owners complain about being hard to see? I haven't noticed being an issue on mine.
Yes... I found the amber impossible to read day and night on my 1300.
Only when the sun is coming over my shoulders and directly onto the panel. Otherwise, never an issue.
