I have one of these with me that you're welcome to try, I'm hanging out with the camper at Switchback creek campground (Snake SToc) until the Wednesday of the BRG, then I'll be at the BRG, then on to Davis for WV-SToc.

A final wrap up -
I finally found some BT units that work without latency as they were the same BT version as my GPS systems - 2.0.
So the issue is newer BT versions have to 'slow' down to deal with older versions and that what appears to cause the significant latency.
At least that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
