ALPS 2008 - UNCLE PHIL

When you rent a bike in England, isn't the headlight reflectors set up to aim to the left for driving on the left in England, thus driving on the right in the rest of Europe the lights would aim toward on coming traffic?

Its only dark at about 2300 and light again at 0400 so its not an issue and on the 1300 you can just lower the light and on the 1100 its flat in the UK so there is no issue anyway

UP,
If you are like most of us Americans you don't need money. Just credit!
Have a great trip. My longest excursion is Vermont this year. Not quite in the same league!
Dave

When are we gonna see some pics. Don't they have the internet in Europe?

Well, back in the Holler at last. At the day job today but what a ride - took 1000+ pictures, rode 3600+ miles on a ST1300, did 900+ hairpins, went through 40+ different passes and 7 countries, did the AutoBahn, the Chunnel and rode in part of the Black Forest. More to come later ...

Great trip report. riding the Alps is in my dream too, but before that I have to do the himalayas. The highest motorable road is there at khardungla pass.
