The problem with any one piece suit with a full length zipper is when you sit on the bike, the folds in the suit can pool water. No zip will keep the water out. The simple solution is to adjust the fold after sitting on the bike to remove any pooling.

Learned the hard way, and now I know to always make the adjustment when it starts to rain.

I have purchased completely waterproof zippers and they do completely seal.
They were around $400.00 for a zipper in the 48"range however, so that would really drive up the cost of suit.
