Adding 2nd Set of Mirrors?

The prototype test fit is complete. I'm still trying to find a way to mount it without drilling the windscreen. The good news is the design will be functional on probably the stock windscreen also. I have a stock screen with which to test fit, but I just finished this tonight.

How many of you (us) strenuously object to drilling holes in the windscreen?
Looks like that should work well for you , mirrors are out of the wind, 3M indoor/outdoor double sided tape holds 20 lbs per square inch. Fun part is taking it off.

How much effect does vibration have on the image? I had stalk-bar mirrors on my GL1000 and saw a pink glow that turned out to be a red spot. I'd think the problem would be worse on a windshield.

I'm about to find out today. I'm super excited to design, make, test and possibly release to others something that I find quite productive, adds safety and agility for evasive maneuvers.

I ran into a 1300 rider years back that had the same problem as you're speaking of. He did exactly as post #30 & 39 and he loved it. I thought really hard at doing myself but never did. I think that is the way to go.
There was a company that made clamp on windshield mirrors and I tried those but there was too much vibration between the road/bike/wind that I removed them pretty quick. Good luck!!

Was it Seang? They've made some for years and still do. Unless the company was sold and now it's a phoenix.

These are apparently a newer version still a work in progress. They aren't as trick looking as the originals. Way back when ('70s) Seang also made a very slick bar mount fairing with turn signals mounted on it and the perimeter edge lit up from the running lights. Very sexy stuff.
