2025 Toronto Motorcycle Shows

Downtown TO best done on the GO train.
That's great if you live anywhere near a GO Train. If I have to drive 30+ minutes to get to a GO Train station, I'm continuing my trip in my car. As a retired TTC employee you would think I would be more pro-transit. Between the construction chaos, idiot drivers and anti-car sentiment that prevails within the City of Toronto Council, I'm done with anything in Toronto and have zero interest in ever going down there again.

Have fun at the show Ray. Let us know if it's any larger than recent years.

Disappointing the US has essentially quit having mc shows. For years went to the Cycle World Show each January in downtown Atlanta (where riding OR driving is always an adventure.)

Then it was taken over by Progressive/ AIM, and now it is no more.

And KTM, with its affiliates / subsidiaries CF Moto, Husqvarna and GasGas are reorganizing and on the verge of bankruptcy, and haven't even been represented at the other far-flung shows that remain, in the last couple of years I'm told.

Arctic Cat has suspended manufacturing of their snowmobiles temporarily or indefinitely for lack of sales. Some on other forums blame this on the decrease of snow the last few years, leading the climate change zealots to renew their global warming mantra.

All I know is, I miss the winter shows in my part of the world, and I really hope the powersports industry can get their crap together and emerge healthy again.

Changing times, y'all.

IMG_5077.jpegI went to the Toronto Airport motorcycle show. I loved every minute of it. The smell or rubber and vinyl; the sound of hawkers of everything. I got custom made ear plugs and a great deal on a helmet. For sure the average age of attendees is getting up there, and I’m not helping bringing it down. There were some amazing custom bikes and vintage ones. Sure it isn’t as big as it used to be, at least since they split it into 2 shows.
Agree I don’t like the downtown location, sucks to get to, but like Malks, I live north of the city.
There was great stunt riders too. Those 2 brothers were amazing. Who doesn’t like the smell of motorcycle exhaust indoors.
I will go again next year. It is like a hot chocolate on a cold winter day for the motorcycle soul. IMG_5066.jpegIMG_5068.jpegIMG_5071.jpegIMG_5070.jpeg

Malks.
I was there today. A friend came down with the flu overnight. Whole family is sick.
Thankfully Andreas was happy to use my extra discounted ticket.
It's still not the same show as it was pre-covid. Alot of leather and Harley stuff. Plus 4 local HD dealers. No manufacturers. It has actually grown from 2 Halls to 4 since 2022.
I prefer the The Motorcycle Show at the Enercare Center as Ray mentioned. Easy pesy to get to using the GO Train.

It didn't look too busy in the photos posted by @Sunday Rider. We used to go every year prior to Covid and the place was always packed. I've picked up many accessories there over the years and really prefer the International Centre venue.

I simply will not travel into Toronto anymore. I missed the Ski Show last fall because they chose to relocate back down to the Enercare Centre. Years ago it had been held in other buildings within the CNE grounds and I didn't mind driving down there once a year to attend, since I was still working and commuting daily. However, in the past 10 years or so it has become increasingly frustrating to get in or out of the city by car, then there's the parking fee. I know the GO Train has a stop at the CNE, but that is just not an option from Orangeville, as I would need to drive to Brampton, park, get on GO Train, ride to Union, transfer to a WB GO Train and ride to CNE stop. I don't even have a Presto card and my TTC Pensioner pass hasn't been used since I retired 13 years ago.

We stopped going to stage shows and other events due to traffic issues, just not worth the hassle in our opinion.

If you are going, aside from the Go train, another option, depending on where you live, is the subway. My preferred option for this is the Wilson station. Lots of parking and shoots you straight downtown.

Public transit (GO Train) from Barrie for me, is a big reason I'd actually consider going to the Feb show ... travel that's stress free, cheaper and interesting if you don't do it much.

And the show is put on by Moto Canada, a non-profit industry supported group. The show is about motorcycles and powersports - not a flea market like the Supershows have become. Just my opinion of course, nothing wrong with booth after booth of pleather, meatsticks and chocolate covered nuts. Lol
