Short notice. I got a wild hair and sent Raymond a text about good places to camp in the area. He's camped there before and said it was nice and only two campers in about 40 campsites. Looks like Randy, Raymond and I will be there. I've not made reservations and will probably take the chance that nobody will be there. Looks like perfect camping weather this weekend.

Let me check my empty planner if I'm open that weekend.............Yup I'll be there Friday afternoon.

Campsite secured, site 40 for 8 bodies and 4 vehicles. The campground actually cuts back on Nov. 15 so we may have neighbors.

Good morning! I'd love to join you guys, but my steed has pulled up lame. I'm a little over an hour away from Piney Grove. If you plan to eat ;), I'd love to provide bbq (pulled pork and/or ribs) with the customary sides for lunch on Saturday. There are plenty of backroads you can take to get to my house. Just let me know by tomorrow afternoon.

Your ears must've been burning. Randy and I were just talking about you and wondering if you were still kickin'. I don't know what my other two partners in crime have planned but pm me your address and let me know what time to be there :biggrin:

I'll try and ride down tomorrow - what time people expecting to be at the camp? I need to head back Saturday afternoon so will probably just motel it for the night.

I'm going to try to leave here at 0700 and ride around Little Rock so it should take about six hours for me. I might stop for a bite east of Memphis. I'm not sure if there is a good place closer to the campground or not. I will be coming east on 72 out of Memphis. I'm not opposed to altering my route to eat a good lunch. I'm open to suggestions.

Mike, I'll be coming from the other direction and don't have any strong suggestions for lunch so will probably just meet you guys at the campground in the later afternoon.

I may stop in Lynnville tn at the Soda Pop Junction and have one of their outstanding burgers with a Stent on the side.

I plan on staying in Booneville so that works for me. I'll probably go by the campground earlier as I'll be there in the afternoon.

I'd meet you there - so I could get my cholesterol level up to proper levels but my wife has an eye doctor's appointment I have to take her to at 1 PM.
Wasn't for that I'd be there!

I've got enough biscuits, fish, turkey and other goodies to cover a camp meal for at least the 4 of us if the other options fall through. I've also packed some fresh ground coffee and Thai tea for na beverages. I will likely get to camp by way of Coffeeville this ride.
