Are the bags removeable?

Lots of F6B styling cues. I personally don't like the pull-back tiller bars.

This is not the ST replacement.

It looks like Honda now has a line of cruisers in small, medium and large variations (CTX700, CTX1300, and F6B) and no more sport tourers, at least not in the ST1100/1300 tradition.

Going to be interesting when the riders start complaining about the heat with their legs so close to the headers with no heat shields. But then again that is why it is a cruiser. Not going to be riding it very far. Wonder what the fuel range is. Don't think it is a 7 .7 gal tank.

This probably raises more questions than answers!

Why would Ma Honda wrap a "new" bike around the old ST1300 engine (with or w/o DTC) when the new VFR1200 is available??

Has Honda revamped the ST's V4 (doesn't look like it), or is it the same-ol same-ol?

Will Honda build a "new" ST using an old engine design??

Is this just a ruse to get lips flappin'?

Now at least Honda clearly has a marketing strategy and there's a common thread that's becoming more and more apparent as their new offerings are presented to the public. The only problem is that I don't like that new tangent.

That's easy, this is being marketed to a "more is more" mentality re: cubes; which will also be a "less is more" crowd when it comes to cost/maint/tech. It's an FB6 light, that spent more time in the ugly stick division than the FB6 did.

Where's that bucket?

I'm afraid you're right. Honda seems to be looking at a demographic that most current motorcycle riders don't belong to. First the big selling DN-01, then the CTX700, and now the CTX1300. What's next a CTX1800?

His right leg is already on the head. No big guys on this bike. ST1100 bags? Only thing I like is round handlebars.

Well, at least we finally get to see the ST13 engine exposed without plastic concealing it. I always thought that it was a shame that the engine was not more visible. But I wonder if it will be offered with DCT only.

The bike in the pics appears to have a clutch lever.

Hmmm, spose Honda had a warehouse full of ST1300 engines lying around and wanted to do something with them???
